Bosque River, Clifton, TX 7/9/07
Bosque river on its way down from extremely high level. I'd have been several ft underwater from where I took this when it was at its highest level. There were dead drum all over the road where they had been stranded and the parking area was pretty well washed out.. Bob
Steven Swimming in the Bosque River.3g2
So I told Steven that I would by him a big as your face burrito if he complete submerged himself in the river. The catch to this was, the river was extremely cold, just after a rain, in early march, and where he is entering the water is about 500 yards downstream from the Lake Waco Dam. They were running water from the lake to the river at this time so it was cold water from the bottom of the lake.
