This may be the grounds around Wat Maheyong temple in Ayutthaya, Thailand. I didn't write down or say the name, and now I'm uncertain where I took this video. Not to mention, I didn't take any pics here of the actual temple--only the trees around the grounds!

Hit the road before sunrise so could catch the sunrise at Wat Chaiwatthanaram. Then after a healthy breakfast, we visited a Unesco heritage site called Wat Phra Si Sanpeth and another temple which was less touristy called Wat Maheyong.

Wat PhutthaiSawan is an historically important temple compound, located along the Chao Praya river just south of Ayutthaya island. New buildings now are in front of the older historical ones. The whitewashed old prang stands impressive in its courtyard. There is also a Reclining Buddha Image. Be sure to walk all the way through the compound to find it.

Wat Na Phra Men, Ayutthaya
Wat Na Phra Men is in Ayutthaya, the old capital of Thailand.
In the 1760s, the Burmese used Wat Na Phra Men as headquarter and location for bombarding the nearby Grand Palace with cannon fire. Thus, it was the only one temple that was not destroyed by the Burmese troops.

วันวิสาขบูชา เป็นวันที่ระลึกถึงวันที่องค์สมเด็จพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าทรงประสูติ ตรัสรู้ และปรินิพพาน ซึ่งตรงกับวันเพ็ญ เดือนวิสาขมาส (เดือน 6) บรรจบกันทั้ง 3 คราว ได้แก่
เช้าวันศุกร์ ขึ้น 15 ค่ำ เดือน 6 ปีจอ ก่อนพุทธศักราช 80 ปี เจ้าชายสิทธัตถะ ทรงประสูติที่พระราชอุทยานลุมพินีวัน ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ระหว่างกรุงกบิลพัสดุ์กับเทวทหะ
เช้ามืดวันพุธ ขึ้น 15 ค่ำ เดือน 6 ปีระกา ก่อนพุทธศักราช 45 ปี เจ้าชายสิทธัตถะ ทรงตรัสรู้เป็นพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าเมื่อมีพระชนมายุได้ 35 พรรษา ณ ใต้ร่มไม้ศรีมหาโพธิ์ ริมฝั่งแม่น้ำเนรัญชรา ตำบลอุรุเวลาเสนานิคม ภายหลังจากการออกผนวชได้ 6 ปี ปัจจุบัน สถานที่แห่งนี้เรียกว่า พุทธคยา เป็นตำบลหนึ่งของเมืองคยา แห่งรัฐพิหาร ประเทศอินเดีย
ภายหลังจากการตรัสรู้ องค์พระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าทรงออกประกาศพระธรรมวินัย และโปรดเวไนยสัตว์เป็นเวลา 45 ปี เมื่อมีพระชนมายุได้ 80 พรรษา พระองค์ก็เสด็จดับขันธปรินิพพาน เมื่อวันอังคาร ขึ้น 15 ค่ำ เดือน 6 ปีมะเส็ง ณ สาลวโนทยาน ของมัลลกษัตริย์ เมืองกุสินารา แคว้นมัลละ ปัจจุบันอยู่ในเมืองกุสีนคระ รัฐอุตตรประเทศ ประเทศอินเดีย
เนื่องจากเหตุการณ์สำคัญทั้ง 3 เหตุการณ์ เกิดขึ้นตรงกันในวันเพ็ญเดือน 6 ชาวพุทธจึงเรียกการบูชาในวันนี้ว่า วันวิสาขบูชา ซึ่งหมายถึง การบูชาในวันเพ็ญเดือน 6 บางแห่งอาจเรียกว่า วันพระพุทธเจ้า หรือ พุทธชยันตี

Here's where we purchased tickets at Wat Maha That to see the six temples for 220 Baht per person. There are far, far more than six temples in Ayutthaya, but the main ticket includes the six main archaeological ruins around Ayutthaya--Wat Maha That, Wat Maheyong, Wat Ratchaburana, Wat Phra Ram, Viharn Phra Mongkhon Bophit, Wat Phra Si Sanphet, and Wat Chaiwattanaram.

Il Wat Chana Songkhram e' un antico tempio è stato costruito nel 18°secolo ed ha subito recentemente una grande ristrutturazione.Spesso i turisti stranieri non fanno caso a questotempio, perche' molto vicino c'e' la famosa Khao San Road ,e'un grande errore non fermarsi per una breve visita.Il tempio è’ un po’ nascosto, e si trova nel cuore della zona dei backpacker, proprio vicino a Khaosan Road.Le decorazioni in legno intagliato e piastrelline fatte di piccolo specchi. La bellezza dell’altare è impressionante, con un grande Buddha dorato con l’ombrello cerimoniale sopra la testa. Lungo una delle navate laterali c’è una statua del Re Taksin, seduto sul trono.Grazie per aver visitato il mio canale.

Wat Phra Ram features an impressive prang, with some decorations intact. In front of the wat is a lake, Bung Phra Ram, which likely artificial, and a result of digging, the earth being used in the construction of all the closeby temples.
