Snow Hill, North Carolina Police Chief Fail ..Refuse to Divulge Bad Driver
I'm driving North through the small Town of Snow Hill, North Carolina, with a couple of passengers in the car, when this Cadillac Escalade comes off of a side street, and moves straight into my lane... without even looking! He would have hits us if I had not hit the brakes hard.
The driver then runs the Red Light and speeds up the road, passing a truck on the right.
This incident was reported to the Snow Hill Chief of Police, John Rea, along with a link to the video ( hard to argue with video ).
Three days later, I finally get an email response from the Chief:
Mr. ........,
I was unable to identify the driver of the vehicle so we will not be able to file any charges. Thank you for the information.
Chief Rea
Not happy with that reply, we went back and forth with a few more emails... to no avail.
So it becomes obvious that Politics is coming into play here. The Perp is either one of those Small Town people of influence, or is associated with Law Enforcement ( the Sheriff's Dept. and Courthouse is right down the street that he came off of ).
