-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tay Ho district is known for housing Hanoi’s largest freshwater lake called Westlake. The West Lake Hanoi was originally sited on the Red River. However, for repeated flooding and erosion it was relocated to the present position on Kim Ngu Islet, also known as Golden Fish Islet. It's a huge body of water-it has a circumference of 17km and there are plenty of historic places of interest, five-star hotel, stylish restaurant, cafe, and nightlife venues that are worth exploring along shoreline Accessible within a 15-minute drive from Hanoi Old Quater. Many locals and tourists seeking respite from the busy city make their way to this high – end district as it provides a sanctuary of great natural beauty with plenty of quiet spots in the sizable botanical gardens.
Most of Hanoians would like to live close to the West Lake because of its wonderful ambiance. While the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem lake are often chaotic and incredibly noisy. West Lake ‘s area is always of peace, holding people back from leaving.
Every morning, many people from young to old find this place to inhale fresh air and do exercise. There are many sports activities such as: cycling, running walking, rowing, SUP, AEROBIC, fishing, kayak, dancing, badminton,...West Lake in the early morning become bustling because of the sports activities, the sounds of smiling and chatting of residents here. Around the lake are very cool, clean roads, very convenient for cycling. Walking around West Lake, enjoying the peaceful, cool atmosphere is a really enjoyable experience. Many are for these reasons, West Lake is considered as the most livable destination in Hanoi.
Running and cycling are the 2 most common activities in Westlake in the morning. About 5 am, every team from 5 to 10 people concentrates at a specific place. After that, they start to run or cycle a lake ‘s round.
Over the last couple of years, cycling around West Lake has become a trend for enthusiasts and visitors alike. Being one of the largest lakes in the country, a ride on two-wheels around the lake would be more preferable to those who want to experience the whole round in just one day. It takes an average of an hour and a half to completely circle the lake. Cycling in the early mornings or late afternoons allows you to beat the heat, and potentially even join others on the same journey! Riding a bicycle around West Lake gives tourists a good chance to explore the whole beauty of the lake and also enjoy the cool fresh air here. The renting cost for a bike just ranges from 40.000 to 70.000 VND/bike and you can easily find one along West Lake.
Water sports activity in West Lake
Not only sea area has water sports, but you can also join energetic activities in West Lake. The most popular activity here is kayaking on the lake. The renting price for one kayak including 1-3 seats ranges from 100.000 to 200.000 VND/hour.
Swimming is also one of the common sports in Tay Ho in the early morning of summer. It’s great when immersing in the cool water of West Lake. It will help you leave the tiredness and stress of life and work, and start a new day with full new energy.
Moreover, sightseeing in the West Lake
West Lake is the most beautiful in the early morning, late afternoon and evening so that you can consider coming here at this time to just relax, see the beautiful building on the other side of the lake and the local life along the lake or take some pictures.

Holiday to Vietnam | www.LuxuryTravelVietnam.com
Vietnam now has world class hotels and resorts, beaches and cuisine, in addition to its natural beauty, rich history and traditional culture.
The new slogan of Vietnam tourism, Vietnam -Timeless Charm was created with an aim to attract discerning travelers, who wish to experience its defining characteristics: thrills, nature, heritage, festival, pristine, luxury travel, scenery and essence.
Thrills:
The thrills offered are endless and span a wide range, including: hiking, trekking, biking, kayaking, climbing, rafting, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, hot air ballooning, camping, yachting and more. Some of the locations where these activities can be enjoyed include: Sapa, Halong Bay, Cu Lao Cham, the Central Highlands, the Mekong Delta, Phan Thiet, Con Dao, the Phu Quoc Islands and many more.
Nature:
The natural splendor amazes visitors, from the green beauty of the national parks, reserves and ramsars, to the mountains, waterfalls, rivers, lakes and grottoes. Halong Bay is among the new Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Visitors will discover the natural allure of Vietnam by indulging in a wide array of accommodations, tour packages and attractions at places such as Mai Chau, Sapa, Ha Giang, Ba Be, Halong Bay, Phong Nha Ke Bang, the Central Highlands, Nam Cat Tien and many more.
Heritage
With its long history and unique way of life, Vietnam has a rich heritage. There are many interesting and diverse sites to be found around the country. In fact, Vietnam boasts 7 world natural and cultural heritage sites, not to mention many others.
As of January 1, 2012, there are more than 3,000 relics and landscape areas classified as national heritage sites, including some very special national relics. Besides the two mentioned above, UNESCO has recognized seven world cultural and natural heritage sites: the Central Sector of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long - Ha Noi, the Citadel of the Ho Dynasty in Thanh Hoa, Halong Bay, Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park, the complex of Hue Monuments, Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary.
There are also six entries on the world intangible heritage list: Nha Nhac Vietnamese Royal Court Music, the Space of Gong Culture in Central Highland, Quan Ho Bac Ninh folk songs, Ca Tru singing, Xoan singing of Phu Tho Province, the Giong Festival of Phu Dong and Soc Temples (Hanoi).
Last, but not least, there are two inclusions on the World Documentary Heritage list: the woodblocks of the Nguyen Dynasty and the stone steles in the Temple of Literature in Hanoi.
Festivals:
Many colorful festivals can be enjoyed year round. The time after Tet Nguyen Dan (Vietnamese Lunar New Year) is especially exciting. Other festivals include the Perfume Pagoda, Hung King, Kate, and Lim and Giay Festivals, just to name a few.
Pristine Beaches:
Many pristine islands and beaches are to be found in this tropical country. Vietnam has 3,620 km of coastline, with beautiful white sand beaches and world class resorts. Of these, you should not miss the stunning sand and clear waters of My Khe, Cua Dai, Nha Trang, Ninh Van Bay, Quy Nhon, Mui Ne, Vung Tau, Phu Quoc and the Con Dao Islands.
Luxury Travel Vietnam, LTD
Holidaymakers have the choice of new and trendy boutique hotels, spas, golfing, cruises, shopping centers, restaurants and nightlife. With new luxury hotels and world class golf courses having recently opened or set to open soon, and the introduction of luxury train journeys, exclusive cruises and upscale private tours spanning the length of the country, Vietnam is fast emerging as an exciting luxe destination in Asia.
Scenery:
Spectacular scenery and a diverse landscape exist from North to South. Mountains, forests, nature reserves, rivers, beaches, and islands are all here to be enjoyed. Verdant patchworks of rice paddies and pointed lampshade-style hats are just a small part of what there is to be seen in this formerly war ravaged country. Visitors will see more than the economic repression often portrayed on worldwide television and in newspapers. There is also natural beauty, a harmonious array of ethnic cultures, imperial monuments, timeless traditional villages, idyllic sea resorts and dynamic cities.
Essence:
Vietnam boasts scores of traditions, lifestyles and religions. The friendly and hospitable population has been influenced by the cultures of China, France and America, and this is reflected in the country's lifestyle, architecture, cuisine and art.

Crazy Vietnam adventures!!! Exploring caves, kayaking, cycling..
Crazy Vietnam adventures!!! Exploring caves, kayaking, cycling..
Vietnam (Việt Nam), is a long, thin country in Southeast Asia. Its neighboring countries are China to the north, Laos and Cambodia to the west. Once a lesser-known destination, now Vietnam has become a widely popular traveling destination in recent years. With Hanoi consistently ranked among the world's top 10 destinations by TripAdvisor, one can now find European tourists as far as in Ha Giang, one of the most remote mountainous provinces.
Ha Long Bay (also Halong Bay) is in northern Vietnam, 170 km east of Hanoi. The bay is famous for its scenic ocean karst topography and is often included on lists of natural wonders of the world, including the UNESCO World Heritage list. Ha Long means Bay of Descending Dragons. Halong bay is travel tourist destination number one in Vietnam. When visiting Halong bay there are various things to do: cruise, kayaking, explore caves, visit floating villages, swimming, sunbathing, reading on board, Tai Chi, sightseeing, taking photos or cooking class. The bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various shapes and sizes. Hạ Long Bay is a center of a larger zone which includes Bái Tử Long Bay to the northeast, and Cát Bà Island to the southwest. The bay consists of a dense cluster of some 1,600 limestone monolithic islands each topped with thick jungle vegetation, rising spectacularly from the ocean. Several of the islands are hollow, with enormous caves. Hang Đầu Gỗ (Wooden stakes cave) is the largest grotto in the Hạ Long area. French tourists visited in the late 19th century and named the cave Grotte des Merveilles. Exploring the caves from a kayak is a beautiful and exciting experience. Its three large chambers contain large numerous stalactites and stalagmites (as well as 19th-century French graffiti). There are two bigger islands, Tuần Châu and Cát Bà, that have permanent inhabitants, as well as tourist facilities including hotels and beaches. There are a number of beautiful beaches on the smaller islands.

Thuong's Visa Expired and Is Leaving Japan
Thuong's visa and work contract unfortunately came to an end and she had to leave Japan. We were a bit busy in the last few days leading up to her departure, and we didn't want filming videos get in the way of enjoying these last few moments, so this VLOG is a bit shorter than usual.
Rest assured that this is not the last time you will see Thuong on this channel. I will be heading to Vietnam at the end of December and Thuong and I will be travelling around together and filming new videos while she shows me around her country.
