Roseville is a progressive city with its eye on the future, but all the while retains and celebrates its rich historical railroad roots. Located in Placer County along the eastern edge of the Sacramento Valley at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills, Roseville is a mere 16 miles from Sacramento, the state capital. Typical of other California cities, Roseville's climate ranges from hot, dry summers to mild winters. What started as a town developed by disappointed miners from the famed Gold Rush has blossomed into a thoroughly developed, independent. Roseville incorporated on April 10, 1909 and is a charter city operating under a City Manager-Council form of government. The strength and balance of Roseville's diverse economy allows the city to thrive. Business ventures in Roseville range from technology, healthcare, agriculture and financial services. Top business employers within the city include Hewlett-Packard, Telefunken Semiconductors USA, Kaiser Permanente and the Union Pacific Railroad. However, its economic gem of retail draws in the crowds, with the expansive Westfield Galleria leading the way.

Roseville, California
Roseville (formerly, Roseville Junction) is the largest city in Placer County, California, United States, in the Sacramento metropolitan area. As of January 1, 2015, the state Department of Finance estimated the city's population to be 128,382. Interstate 80 runs through Roseville and State Route 65 runs through part of the northern edge of the city.
The settlement was originally a stage coach station called Griders. According to the Roseville Historical Society, in 1864 the Central Pacific Railroad tracks were constructed eastward from Sacramento, and when they crossed a small California Central Railroad line they named the spot Junction. Junction eventually became known as Roseville. In 1909, three years after the Southern Pacific Railroad moved its facilities from Rocklin to Roseville, the town became an incorporated city.

Nice Cab! Schindler HT Hydraulic Elevator-ZARA-Roseville Galleria-Roseville, CA
What a nice Schindler elevator! This one has your typical ZARA elevator cab with black reflective acrylic walls. This is somewhat a new elevator, installed when ZARA moved into this mall and built this two-story store. They maintain it pretty well and it runs well too. As you can tell, Destinee likes this elevator very much! Great install!
