An announced crowd of 6,942 and 124 dogs took in the Lexington Legends' home opener on a great night for baseball.

- Highlights for 2018 guard Cooper Robb from Scott County High School playing in the 2017 Whitaker Bank KHSAA Sweet 16 at Rupp Arena in Lexington. During the 2016-17 basketball season the Cardinals had the best record in the 11th Region and advanced the the state tournament, making it to the Elite 8 round. That season Cooper averaged 14.9 points per game while this season in 23 games he is averaging 14.8 points per game as Scott County Once again finds themselves late in the season with the 11th Region's best record with just 1 loss.
