“Selvaggio Blu“ (Wild Blue) it is Italy’s “most difficult” trekking tour and one of the 100 most beautiful treks of the world: a 6-days-hike from Santa Maria Navarrese along the cliff coast of the “Golfo di Orosei“ gulf to Cala Gonone. In between there is a wild and natural cliff coast with wonderful bays.

SPIAGGIA DEL RELITTO 4K (ISOLA DI CAPRERA-SARDEGNA ITALY) Sardinia Paradise
La spiaggia si trova nella parte meridionale dell' isola di Caprera, e per raggiungerla, una volta superato il ponte di Caprera, si deve andare avanti nel rettilineo. Appena entrati nella pineta si deve proseguire fino al secondo incrocio dove si dovrà svoltare sulla destra. Percorrendo la strada asfaltata, senza svoltare in nessun incrocio, si arriverà all’estremo sud dell’isola, dove in prossimità della spiaggia dei Due Mari (conosciuta anche come Cala Portese), riconoscibile per il fatto che il mare è sia sul lato destro (spiaggia piccolina) e sia su quello sinistro (diverse spiagge molto più grandi collegate tra di loro) ed anche per il fatto che da quel punto la strada asfaltata si interrompe e continua con quella in terra battuta. Una volta arrivati all’altezza del rettilineo finale che condurrà al cancello di Punta Rossa, si dovrà svoltare subito sulla sinistra continuando per la strada sterrata fino ad arrivare ad uno spiazzo, dove appena parcheggiato, si dovrà proseguire a piedi ed in pochi metri si arriverà alla spiaggia. La spiaggia del Relitto, oltre che dalla sua sabbia bianca e sottile, è caratterizzata dalla presenza sulla riva di uno scheletro di una nave antica che trasportava carbone fatta arenare dopo un incendio scoppiato a bordo. E’ suggestivo fare il bagno vicino a questi resti in un mare trasparente dal fondale sabbioso attorniati da una vegetazione ricca di macchia mediterranea.
SPIAGGIA DEL RELITTO - CAPRERA
The beach of Relitto (Wreck), located in the southern part of the island, takes its name from the skeleton of an old cargo ship that ran aground here following a fire that broke out on board.
The presence of the semi-submerged wreck makes it even more impressive to bathe in these crystal clear waters of emerald, turquoise and blue shades.
All around the beach, naturally set among the rocks of the bay, extends the luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation to make the landscape even more beautiful and wild.

Selvaggio Blu - Giorno 1 : da Pedra Longa a Portu Pedrosu
Siamo partiti da Arbatax alle ore 8 , trasferimento in fuoristrada a Pedra Longa. Risalito il bacu sottostante punta Giradilli ci siamo ritrovati su un pianoro di rocce fessurate con vista spettacolare, per poi riscendere fino a Portu Pedrosu, sempre costeggiando il mare.
ATTENZIONE : TAPPA LUNGA E FISICAMENTE IMPEGNATIVA.

Nestled in the Tyrrhenian Sea, La Maddalena Archipelago comprises a group of islands scattered from Northern Sardinia toSouthern Corsica, in the middle of the Bonifacio strait. Wild, sunny and breezy, they cover an area ideal for sailing and nature observation with their countless nature trails, hidden coves and breathtaking views. The area is home to dolphins, cetaceans and a dazzling sea life constantly monitored by the scientists of the Archipelago's National Park.
La Maddalena, the biggest of the islands and the only one inhabited, has provided shelter to sailors crossing the stormyBonifacioStraitsince time immemorial. For about two centuries a relevant military centre, the archipelago is dotted by the signs of its more recent history: still the old fortresses stand out above solitary and wild coves; landing place for odd adventurers and romantic figures, take the Admirals who whished to establish here the first unit of the Marina Sarda, it boasts a memorable victory over Napoleon who was overrun and put to flight by a thin group of local fighters and thus, forced to give up his ambition to seize the island.
Take also the English travellers, Admiral Horace Nelson above all, who, while chasing the French fleet led by Villeneuve, temporarily shielded in the port of Toulon, waited onboard the ship Victory in the harbour of Mezzo Schifo --also know as Agincourt Bay -- , between Palau andLa Maddalena, with a fleet of 20 ships. He was stationed in the world's most beautiful harbour from November 1st, 1803 to January 19th, 1805, and died a few months later, during the battle of Trafalgar and the French defeat.
Or the romantic and reckless figure of Giuseppe Garibaldi, the Hero of Two Worlds, who after years of revolutionary battles across the world, choose to spend the rest of his life in his beloved Island of Caprera. His house, turned into a small Museum, and his grave attract people from all over the world.
The intense and warm colours of the Mediterranean bush distend their mantle over these islands; sheer waters turn their shades from turquoise to opal green, becoming cobalt blue as they enter deep waters. This fairytale landscape is broken, upset at times, by the strange and massive formations of granite, eroded by time and wind, by wind and time.
In the crude and distant solitude of these places, one feels as he has just stepped out of history and into the intimate immensity of nature. The tormented rocks, the secluded beaches filled with sunlight and silence, the scents of shrubs and brushwood, the slow flapping of the sea backwash and the mournful seagull cries: they are the scents, the colours and the voices of ever, echoes of a time long gone.
Raging winds and unending meteoric changes carved a marvellous stone bestiary which is weaved on the cliffs and the bays of this extraordinary archipelago: obscure monsters, pre-human titans rising out of arid brinks, reiterated in the shady ridges and in the open sea.
Sometimes, dawn rises a misty curtain and the island disappears, between the sea and the sky. The same happened, at times, to its history: mysterious for centuries, dispersed by the wind, made of unuttered narrations and unseen beauty. Yet something from the past has found its way to the present, penetrating the people's character and features, the traditions, the fishermen's tales.
Visit this endless stretches of coastline to discover different leisure opportunities, savour the slow-paced lifestyle and the scented and colourful food specialties or, simply sit on shore and contemplate the sea.

Trinità d'Agultu e Vignola is a comune in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 200 kilometres north of Cagliari and about 50 kilometres west of Olbia. Trinità d'Agultu e Vignola borders the following municipalities: Aggius, Aglientu, Badesi, Viddalba. The main economical activity is summer tourism.
Two towns that have joined into one, Trinità d'Agultu and Vignola are on a hill above the breathtaking Sardinian coast. Sitting along the Costa Paradiso, you'll easily see what it's compared to paradise with the crystalline blue water, rocky wild shoreline and unspoiled sandy beaches. The sea breezes waft up the scrub-covered hills, a pastoral landscape with a long history. Around the area are remains of ancient civilizations - neolithic and nuraghic cultures that once inhabited this island. Burial chambers, conical nuraghe dwellings and remnants of Roman roads are visible here.
Trinità d'Agultu was built around a country chapel that served the shepherds and eventually became a village. The church of the Most Holy Trinity for which the town is named dates to the early 1700s and has a cross brought from Corsica. There are lonely country chapels scattered all over the hills here, remnants of the rural homesteads that they once served. You can see those charming stone farmhouses, called stazzi, in the countryside.
The area is still known for its pastoral lifestyle, with sheep herding still a relevant trade. The sheep-milk cheese from Sardinia is prized throughout Europe, and the island's wines are notable, as well. The white Vermentino is from these hills and goes well with the fresh fish from the sea, just a few miles away. But there is also the tradition of mountain cuisine, with one of the town's famous dishes, Zuppa Gallurese, still popular - a lamb and potato stew. Try it with Sardinia's red wine, cannonau.
Down below is the jagged coastline, a gorgeous sight and a glorious destination for swimmers and sun-seekers. Isola Rossa is a pretty promontory that looks at an island of the same name, still natural and beautiful. White sand beaches intersperse with rocky coves. You'll find the magical Torre Spagnola, build in the 1500s by the Spanish and still standing guard. Trinità d'Agultu is near the renowned beaches of Costa Paradiso and Costa Smeralda, making it ideal for a seaside destination, while still offering outdoors activities in the hills, like biking, hiking and horse riding.
