???????? 360° Bagan Temple Sunrise | Bagan, Burma
A mini Slow TV 360° video of a sunrise in Bagan, the great pagoda repository of Burma (and Asia)! =] ????????
The viewpoint is from the quiet Winido temple complex, which is away from the more famous sunrise/sunset spots in Bagan. But the compromise is marginal as climbing the temple for sunrise and sunset - with the help of a key from the friendly gatekeeper and pagoda guardian Zozo - often means you are on your own with an equally iconic view one of the world's most famous ancient sights.

MYANMAR YANGOON SULE PAGODA
This pagoda is located in the heart of the city inside of a big traffic-roundabout.
The prayers of the monks are transmittet with big loudspeakers to a real big area of the city.
Good I followed an advice to take a hotel room without a window. Stayed just 200 meters away.
Nat festival in Mount Popa; Bagan, Myanmar
The most important nat pilgrimage site in Burma is Mount Popa, an extinct volcano with numerous temples and relic sites atop a mountain 1300 metres tall located near Bagan in central Burma. Villagers sit at the edge of the road in hopes that the nat worshipers will share their charitable deeds by throwing money to them from the moving car window. The road is littered with people, mostly the elderly and small kids, eagerly awaiting for donations .01-03-2020 Mt. Popa Volcano, Bagan, Myanmar.
✈ Air Bagan RGN-MDL Flight Review
Air Bagan RGN-MDL ATR-42 Review
----------------------------
A nice cozy plane, with all the holiday decorations and stuff. About the window... thats just my window. Wish I could've flown on their Fokker 100 which normally plys this route as it takes 40 minutes quicker and there's a first-class, but it crashed the day before so I got stuck in this tiny plane. At least the legroom is much bigger than United.
A short 90 minute full-service flight, with breakfast and refreshments that pass the quality test. They always give out soda candy, which is nice, and the flight attendants (both male and female) were top-class and always smiling. They sometimes open the bathroom door for you. Now that's true service. And for the first time, there are so many Westerners both on this plane and in the terminal. A good sign for Myanmar, I guess.
On an ATR-42. From runway 21 to runway 17. Main cabin. Winter 2012.

Magic Bagan: land of a thousand stupas, Myanmar
Bagan Archaeological Zone is located in the Mandalay Region of Myanma. It consists of a large group of ancient Buddhist temples. In its hay days (900-1300 AD), more than 10,000 temples were erected here. Today, only a little more than 2000 remain.
