Vlog #23: London, England (Part 1) || TOWER BRIDGE IN THE DAY AND NIGHT
Days 81-85
We are so excited to be back in London!
We caught a coach with National Express and stayed at Diver Castle Hostel and Bar. On our first night we went to the Ministry of Sound (which we don't recommend.) We spent our first day at London Bridge, the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Then at night went to the bar at the Shard and enjoyed views of London from above.
The next day we checked out St. Paul's Cathedral, the modern art at Tate Modern, and Shakespeare's Globe. That night we went to the Tower Bridge and got to watch it open up for a ship passing through.
The following day we visited Trafalgar Square and then National Gallery. That evening we walked along the south bank to the London Eye and then Big Ben. We really loved seeing them light up at night.
We also went to the British Museum and then went shopping on Oxford Street. We then spent our last night at the Tower Bridge and got to see it light up at night.

David Moyes 1st day Manchester United Manager
SportTV ©
Football ©
Manchester United have announced that David Moyes has appointed Steve Round, Chris Woods and Jimmy Lumsden to his backroom staff.
All follow him from Everton with Round replacing Mike Phelan as United's assistant manager, Woods taking over from Eric Steele as the goalkeeping coach and Lumsden replacing Rene Meulensteen as first-team coach.
Moyes said: I have worked with Steve, Chris and Jimmy for a number of years and I am delighted they have decided to join me at this great club. They bring great qualities in their respective fields and I know that, like me, they feel that this is a challenge to relish. I have great faith that together, we can build upon the success this club has enjoyed over many years.
A statement from United said: Manchester United are delighted to confirm the appointments of Steve Round as assistant manager, Chris Woods as goalkeeping coach and Jimmy Lumsden as coach. Round, 42, joins the club after working alongside David Moyes at Everton since July 2008. Woods, 53, who as a player was a member of the England World Cup squads in 1986 and 1990 and for the squads for the European Championships in 1988 and 1992, has been the goalkeeping coach at Everton since 1998. In October 2011 he also became United States goalkeeping coach. Lumsden, 65, has worked with David Moyes since his days at Preston North End and subsequently at Everton.
Moyes arrived on Monday morning at United's Carrington training ground to officially begin work as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor .
Moyes drove into the vast complex in a sponsored Chevrolet at just after 8am on Monday morning. It marks the start of a new era for the the club after Ferguson ended his 26-year tenure in May.
Within minutes of Moyes' arrival the club were confirming another regional partnership -- this time with the leading Thai telecommunications company True Corporation Plc.
True will be an associate match sponsor for United's opening tour match against Singha All Stars in Bangkok on 13 July -- Moyes' first in charge.
Although the majority of his players are not due in until Wednesday, it is thought Moyes plans to talk to Wayne Rooney on Tuesday amid speculation the England striker has decided his future lies away from Old Trafford.
Moyes would prefer to keep the 27-year-old and but if Rooney is set on leaving, it will be interesting to see whether he makes the tour squad when it leaves for the far east on 10 July.
It is also assumed the former Everton manager will return to his old club to make another bid for the England defender Leighton Baines.
In addition to Baines, the Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcântara has been strongly linked with a switch to Old Trafford.
EX LNER/EMR 43309 & 43296 tone under Lime Grove working 0Z43 to Gascoigne Wood 23/12/19
In this video I went down to March to see two EX LNER HST power cars go from Ely Papworth to Gascoigne Wood sidings. I went to a little bridge over the line called Lime grove which is just west of the station. 43309 & 43296 moved to Gascoigne Wood back to back with no coaches. I was joined by Great Eastern Rail Videos. Enjoy!
