Awakened Fresno can also be thought of as Fresno's enlightened, we are actively participating in the transformation of ourselves and Fresno. This is a gathering of people coming together with conscious intention to support personal and social transformation. Whether you have a desire to learn more about spirituality or are well established in your spiritual path and life purpose, or just want to get involved in making some positive changes in the world and yourself, this is a place for you. We are a family of like-minded individuals coming together to collaborate and co-create a future of endless possibility in Fresno. We are coordinating women's circles and events for both men and women to come together. If enough men are interested, a circle will be set up in the future. This is a place to come together with people who resonate with your vibration. We are building a family and support system here in Fresno, where we can relate to each other, have fun, inspire one another, teach, learn, and grow. We are bringing in more of the transformational festival culture into fresno , with ideas like gift economy, leave it cleaner than before, and live in the now.
Women's circle- This is a sistar sanctuary where we come to relax, relate and rejuvenate as wombmen. We will get together on or near the New Moon. I have future plans of establishing the first Fresno's Red Tent where women transform the world. This is a very popular movement right now that has not made it to Fresno yet. (Watch the documentary Things We Don't Talk About). I will be teaching women about spirituality, working with energy and self-healing, while other women will teach and share their wisdom as well. We will be speaking on a variety of New Paradigm subjects. We will be creating sacred space, and have sacred ceremony and ritual to honor the divine. We will be honoring the earth, giving back to the earth, and will have our meetings outside in nature. We will laugh, cry, share, listen, dance, play music, sing, do readings, and give support. We will participate in meditation, emotional clearing and healing, including energy healing, crystal healing, sound healing, and chakra healing. You will learn how to tap into your inner goddess. We are establishing a circle of powerful women to come together to create positive changes for the future. These women are driven by a passion to make a difference and to live life to their greatest potential. It's time for women to stop competing with each other like little girls, we need to come together as sistars to stand behind and support each other. By doing this we are stepping into our power and can begin to create the changes we want to see in the world.
Men and Women's events- We will be getting together around the Full Moon at the outdoor classroom in Woodward park for drum circle music sessions. Bring your drums, or any instruments to participate in the drum circle. We will play until the after sun sets, then we will turn on some music, kick back and dance under the stars. It will be a good time to share our experiences with one another and help guide each other. This will be a great way to meet people and build a positive network of friends and family. These events will be perfect places for you to exchange any energy work, readings, crystals, or gifts you may have. Spread the love by sharing your gifts, and feel the love when gifts are shared back with you.

Rainbow Trout Plant in Fresno
The Department of Fish and Game (DFG) began planting rainbow trout at Sycamore Island Park for the first time in April. Stocking will begin with an initial release with plans to continue through next winter and early spring, giving anglers an opportunity to enjoy one of the state's most popular outdoor activities.
