Labor park (Dalian China)
Dalian Labor Park Located in the center, Labor Park is the biggest park in Dalain covers an area of 560,000 square meters. The architecture combines western style with Chinese traditional exquisite style. Located in the shadow of Lushan Mountain, this park has close ties with China's history. After liberation took place more than 100 years ago the local citizenry restored the park's beauty and erected a monument with the words--Work Create World carved into it. Since then, it has been recognized as Labor Park. A massive lawn lined with more 300,000 flowers is the park's centerpiece. There is also a large well-equipped amusement zone, a game farm full of peacocks, deer, and cranes, a lotus pond and the famous red-and-white soccer ball sculpture that acknowledges Dalian as China's football town.
Situated on the top of the Green Mountain south of Labour Park, the TV Tower is 190m high, and 360m above sea level. It has a vessel-shaped tower base of 2 stories. Its upper Colorful Cloud Hall can hold 600 people viewing sights at a time. This is one of the must place for visitors to Dalian.

LEADIN:
China's giant Dead Sea swimming pool is one of the busiest in the world - and it's certainly making waves.
Thousands of fun-seekers pack into the pool to experience the thrill of the wave machine.
STORYLINE:
If there were a contest for the world's most packed swimming pool, then China's Dead Sea leisure pool could scoop first prize.
Never more so than when the wave machine fires up and everybody makes a beeline for the water.
It's a riot of colour - with thousands of bodies wrapped-in rubber rings, being swept along in the surf.
If you come here for a swim, then you're out of luck.
This is the indoor pool at China's Dead Sea resort - and three times per day, when the wave machine runs, it's a multi-coloured human soup.
Most here wear inflatable lifebelts because they can't swim - but, clearly, the extra padding helps prevent a lot of head injuries.
Hao Mingyou is in charge of operations at the resort in Daying, near the Sichuan-Chongqing border. He says people clearly love it here - especially when it's wave time.
Mingyou says: The waves bring a lot of fun and excitement. When the waves roll, people are screaming and having a great time - that's how the Dead Sea of China makes people happy and healthy.
For more peace and quiet, there's the outside lagoon.
Safety is clearly a big concern.

China pushes to unearth remains of Korean independent fighter / YTN
China has been independently pushing to unearth the remains of Korean independence fighter Ahn Jung-Geun who is said to be buried in northast China.
China has been unsuccessful in its search in an area located north of Lushun prison in China's northeastern port city of Dalian, known to locals as a grave for Korean independent fighters including Ahn.
The Chinese search is known to have started two months after the South Korean government's unsuccessful expedition in 2008 in nearby sites.
At that time, a picture owned by the daughter of the then head of the Lushun prison was used by the Korean government to guess the whereabouts of Ahn's remains.
Seoul officials say that as a respected figure in China as well, Beijing may have an interest in enshrining Ahn, one of Korea's most-respected independence fighters.
In 1909, when Korea was on the brink of annexation by Japan, Ahn assassinated then Japanese Prime Minister Ito Hirobumi at the then Harbin railway station.

Everything Now 光影今时 【Looking China 看中国】
About appearances and what lies behind a beautiful picture. How much of our world do we consume daily without even being aware of it? Are humans meant to adapt to the fast-paced lifestyle that they themselves have created and all the technological (dis)advantages that go with it? Who actually is in control of our lives? The individual, society, technology, culture, government etc. Shot in Dalian, the film weaves together differing landscapes of the city: the peaceful, serene Qianguan Wetland Park and busy, bustling downtown Dalian. Comparing and contrasting the two, the film presents the viewer with everything, now.

Dalian, China. Visiting a Buddhist Temple. Is there room for religion in China?

Building a harmonious society with patriotism and religion. This is the Chinese Communist party slogan regarding religion. The reality is that religion like most things in China is heavily censored and combined with political propaganda. We recently visited a buddhist temple in Dalian where the CCP influence is heavily present. On the trip there a serious truck accident had taken place and the taxi driver got a little lost. When we arrived at the temple it was freezing cold with strong wind. despite the cold we managed to capture some beautiful scenery, apart from the disgusting pornographic graffiti inside the temple watch tower. Please watch the video and let me know what you think.

A bit about the Mountains...
(Chinese: 千山国家公园; pinyin: Qiānshān; literally: Thousand mountains)
The Qianshan National Park is a mountainous national park in Liaoning Province, China, 17 km by road, south east of Anshan.(Where we were staying)
The park is in the Qianshan Mountains (Chinese: 千山山脉), named after itself, that extends from the Changbai Mountains in the China-North Korea border, westward to Liaoyang, then southward to Dalian in the southern corner of Liaoning Province.
