Virtual tour to Terracotta warriors museum-兵马俑-HD | China travel vlog
Terracotta Army Museum, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located in the Lintong District, Xi’an, China. The army sculptures were meant to protect the first Emperor of China, named Qin Shi Huang, in his afterlife after his burial.
The army was initially buried and forgotten for hundreds of years; until it was discovered in 1974 by farmers digging a well. The sculptures include sculptures of army generals, warriors, horses, and even chariots. Although the collection is known to depict an army, there are other figures as well, which include musicians, officials, strongmen, and even acrobats.
The soldiers and other sculptures buried with the Emperor are made of clay, but they are based on real warriors. In total, more than 8,000 soldiers were buried with the emperor to watch over him in his afterlife.
The Emperor rose to power when he was only 13 years old. After taking the throne, he ordered this project, which took nearly 40 years to complete. He ruled from 247 BC to 210 BC.
Seeing this ambitious collection of artworks is an experience most people will live to remember. Having been around for thousands of years, the Terrracotta army carries with it lots of history.
The museum offers a unique insight into how Chinese emperors were like, and how much they prepared for the afterlife. The collection should also help give you an insight into the brilliant and deep Chinese art culture.
The clay army has survived centuries of burial, looting and other challenges that have made it unlike any other collection of artworks in the world. That is partly why the museum was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Some have called it the eighth wonder of the world.

National Museum of China, Chinese (Pinyin) Zhongguo Guojia Bowuguan or (Wade-Giles romanization) Chung-kuo Kuo-chia Po-wu-kuan, museum in Beijing, located on the east side of Tiananmen Square. The museum was created in 2003 by the merger of the National Museum of Chinese History and the Museum of the Chinese Revolution. It is the largest museum in China and one of the largest museums in the world.
The National Museum of Chinese History, the main exhibits of which covered the history of China from its earliest beginnings up until the Chinese Revolution of 1911–12, was established at the former Imperial College of the Ming and Qing dynasties in 1912 and later expanded to rooms above the south gate of the Forbidden City and associated spaces. It opened to the public in 1926 and was reorganized in 1997 based on the latest archaeological and historical findings and arranged in chronological order. The Museum of the Chinese Revolution, established in 1950, was dedicated to the history of China from about 1840 onward, particularly highlighting the history of the Chinese Communist Party. A new building to house the two museums was completed in 1959.
After China won the bid to host the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, officials decided to combine the museums into a single entity and embarked on a massive renovation of the building. Construction began in 2007, and the museum reopened to the public in 2011, boasting some 2,153,000 square feet (200,000 square metres) of space—nearly three times its original size. The museum’s collection features more than one million objects, ranging from replicas of bones of Peking man to scientific instruments introduced to China by missionaries in the 18th and 19th centuries and many hundreds of decorative objects—such as bronzes, pottery, lacquerware, jade, and textiles—and documents, art, and artifacts ranging from the Paleolithic Period to the present.
Virtual tour to Famen temple | China travel vlog
Virtual tour to Famen temple | China travel vlog
Famen Temple is a Buddhist temple located in Famen town , Fufeng County, 120 kilometers west of Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. It was widely regarded as the ancestor of pagoda temples in Guanzhong.
Famen Temple currently maintains such a layout as Grand Hall following Pagoda. The True Relic Pagoda is regarded as the middle axle of the temple. Before it stand the Front Gate, the Front Hall, and behind it is the Grand Hall of Great Sage. This is the typical layout of the early Buddhist temples in China.
The True Relic Pagoda has been altered several times. It evolved from four-storied pavilion-like pagoda in Tang Dynasty to thirteen-storied brick pagoda in Ming Dynasty. The current version was rebuilt based on the surveyed drawing of the pagoda in Ming Dynasty before it collapsed. It is made of armored concrete as skeleton, and then covered by grey bricks. Inside the pagoda there are sightseeing platforms for tourists.
The underground palace was restored to the structure of Tang Dynasty. Only few severely damaged parts were replaced. The whole palace was built by white marbles and limestone tablets. Inner walls and stony gate are all engraved. During the renovation of the underground palace, a circular basement was built surrounding the Tang palace, and Buddhist shrines were included. The preserved Buddhist finger relic rests at the center of the underground palace.
The western division of the temple is Famen Temple Museum, including multi-functioning reception hall, treasure hall and other buildings.

Shishahai Hutong and Yinding bridge walking tour | China travel vlog
Shichahai (simplified Chinese: 什刹海; traditional Chinese: 什剎海; pinyin: Shíchàhǎi) is a historic scenic area consisting of three lakes in the north of central Beijing. They are located to the north-west of the Forbidden City and north of the Beihai Lake. Shichahai consists of the following three lakes: Qianhai (前海), Xihai (西海) and Houhai (后海). In imperial times it was called the Riverbank (河沿; héyán).
Shichahai consists of 147 hectares and dates back to the Jin Dynasty. From the time of the Yuan Dynasty it was the northernmost part of the Grand Canal linking Hangzhou in the south to Beijing in the North of China. Because of this, the Shichahai area used to be the most important commercial district with all kinds of activities going on. It harbors several temples and mansions.
Shichahai literally means the lake of ten temples. Around the lake there are ten famous Taoist and Buddhist temples and several formal royal mansions and gardens. The most well known are the Prince Gong Mansion and the Prince Chun Mansion.
Shichahai is a famous scenic spot in Beijing, and it is near the north-gate of the Beihai Park. The borders of the lakes are lined by tall trees. In the summer tourists rent boats to paddle on the lakes. In the winter many people come to ice-skate.
In 1992, the municipal government of Beijing declared it as a Historical and Cultural Scenic Area.

Virtural tour to Daxing international airport-大兴国际机场 | China travel vlog
Beijing Daxing International Airport , located on the border of Beijing and Langfang, Hebei Province, is Beijing's second international airport. The name of the airport was announced on September 14, 2018. The terminal building is the largest single-structure airport terminal in the world, with an area of more than 1,000,000 m2 (11,000,000 sq ft). It was completed on June 30, 2019. The opening ceremony for the airport was held on September 25, 2019, with the airport opened to the public on September 26, 2019. The first commercial flight landed at Beijing Daxing at 10:12 (UTC+8), September 26, 2019.
The airport is 46 kilometres (29 mi) south of Tiananmen Square, 26 kilometres (16 mi) west of downtown Langfang, 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Xiong'an New Area, and 65 kilometres (40 mi) south of Beijing Capital International Airport, and is expected to serve Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei.[11] It serves as a hub for SkyTeam alliance airlines and some Oneworld members, while Star Alliance members will stay at Beijing Capital International Airport (with the exception of LOT Polish Airlines, which will serve Daxing as well). Hainan Airlines, which accounted for 10% of Beijing Capital International's passenger seat capacity in 2016, but is not part of any major alliance, remains at Capital Airport.
After almost five years of construction, the $11 billion facility features a 700,000 m2 (7,500,000 sq ft) terminal and sits on 47 km2 (18 sq mi) of land, making it the world's second-largest single-building airport terminal, after Istanbul Airport's main terminal.

Huangpu River, the symbol as well as the mother river of Shanghai, is famous for a marvelous collection of the quintessence of the city scenes along the river, where the past, present and prospects for a brilliant future of Shanghai are expressed incisively. Contrasting to the very traditional river traffic of barges and ferries, sailing under the futuristic Yangpu Bridge and down the Huangpu River towards the East Sea, the views of the full sweep of the Bund (the exotic architecture museum), cityscape of Pudong (the miniature of Shanghai) as well as the typical scene two dragons are playing with a pearl (双龙戏珠, the Yangpu Bridge and Nanpu Bridge embraces the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in the middle) can be well enjoyed. Huangpu River Cruise is just one of the best ways to have a look of both traditional and modern Shanghai.

How to Get to Yuyuan Garden and Bazaar?
Take subway line 10 ( transfer from Subway line 2 at East Nanjing Road ) and get off at the station of Yuyuan Garden (豫园) and exit from the Exit No.01. But the long stroll from the station to the core of the old town is a bit tricky.
The old town has been exploited commercially with more and more shopping centers and stores of various sizes springing up from all the places and some of them are built in the traditional styles, distracting you all the way to the real and authentic old town.
Basically sticking to Fuyou Road (福佑路) in the east direction, then follow the signs pointing to Yuyuan Garden. To locate the real old town, you remember the “nine-turning bridge” on a pond surrounded by the bustle bazaar and Yiyuan Garden. The Huxingting Tea House floating on the pond is a favorite place for tourists for a sip of tea and dim sum.
So if you see the Nine-Bend Bridge and the Tea House on the pond with a backdrop of the highest building ( Shanghai Tower), then you hit the right place – the core of Yuyuan Garden and Bazaar!
