Big Yango Loop
Starting from our camp at Blue Gums campground we drove the Big Yango Loop trail in the prescribed anti-clockwise direction around to the Mountain Arm campground.
Nothing too technical, but not boring either. Some tight spots, low branches, rocks, hill climbs and descents keep it interesting not to mention the amazing scenery. Totally enjoyed, highly recommend.

We did a run up to Yengo National Park last weekend and what a top spot.
I've been wanting to get up there for ages and it was great to head up there with family members for a big day driving.
Really nice spot and a potential camp spot for our next get away,

Finchley Aboriginal site, Yengo National Park, NSW, Australia
Various rock engravings at the Finchley Aboriginal SIte, Yengo National Park, NSW. Yengo was an important meeting place for various aboriginal tribes from the surrounding countryside.
The figures include spirit beings, a man and a woman, and an emu figure. Various ceremonies were held at this place by the aboriginal people who lived in the surrounding land.
Riding Howes Valley in Yengo National Park
This ride starts at the Putty Rd side of Yengo National Park and follows Howes Valley Trail out to the Finchley Trig lookout (the one at the end of the video). You can ride through all the way to Laguna for fuel and then turn around and do the ride in reverse. The track is suitable for adventure bikes, just keep an eye out for 4WDs coming the other way!

Quite a few years ago I took some time out to drive the dirt road from Laguna to The Finchley trig in Yengo National Park, New South Wales Australia. Apologies, this was pre-HD video days for me, so the video is standard definition - not what we are used to, these days!

I took a Sunday drive to see parts of a convict-built engineering masterpiece, the Great North Road, in Yengo and Dharug National Parks, NSW. I also took in the historic village of St Albans.
