South Korea Drone Flight: Suwon is the capital of Gyeonggi Province, in northwestern South Korea. Its known for the late-18th-century Hwaseong Fortress, with its commanding stone wall and 4 pagoda-topped arched gates. Near Hwahongmun Gate, Hwaseong Haenggung Palace has a traditional banquet hall. The raised Yeonmudae Post, once a military training ground, offers fortress views. Suwon Hwaseong Museum explores the construction of the fortress. Near the curved Paldalmun fortress gate, Yeongdong Market specializes in colorful traditional garments. The citys Hyowon Park is home to Wolhwawon Gardens Chinese-inspired pavilions. Southeast of the park, the high-tech Samsung Innovation Museum explores the history of electronics. Suwon Museum has calligraphy exhibits and ancient artifacts. In the southern Songsan-dong district, Buddhist relics at the 18th-century Yongjusa Temple include a large sacred bell. Stone statues and lotus-flower carvings decorate the Joseon-era Yungneung and Geolleung Royal Tombs. North, Gwanggyosan Mountain has hiking trails and a tree-lined reservoir. // Incheon, a South Korean city bordering the capital of Seoul, has long been a transportation hub. The ultramodern, massive Incheon International Airport, with railway connections to Seoul, features a casino, spa and golf course. Yeonan Pier, close to the popular Incheon Fish Market, is the starting point for many boat tours. It borders the Seoul Metropolitan Area to the north. Asan has a population of approximately 300,000. Asan is known for its hot springs and is a city of spas. 수원화성과 융건릉
사적 제206호. 장조는 영빈이씨(暎嬪李氏)의 소생으로 1736년(영조 12)에 세자로 책봉되었으나 정치싸움에 휘말려 영조의 진노를 얻어 뒤주 속에 갇혀 죽었다. 영조가 그에게 사도(思悼)라는 시호를 내리고 배봉산(拜峰山: 서울특별시 동대문구 휘경동) 기슭에 초장한 것을 1789년(정조 13)에 정조가 이곳으로 이장하고 현륭원(顯隆園)으로 명명하였다.
그 뒤 1899년 사도세자가 장조로 추존되면서 융릉으로 승격하였다. 헌경왕후는 1815년(순조 15)에 죽어 그 이듬해에 융릉에 합장되었다.
수원 화성은 조선 후기에 세워진 계획도시입니다. 개혁적인 통치자 정조와 실학자들이 지은 성곽 도시로, 조선 후기 토목 건축의 백미로 꼽히고 있지요.
수원 화성은 선조들의 뛰어난 자연관과 통치 이념이 반영된 것은 물론이고 예술성과 과학, 경제까지 생각하고 건설되었습니다. 자연환경을 적절히 이용한 것은 물론, 설계부터 공사에 이르기까지 새로운 기술과 장비를 이용하여 최소의 노력으로 최대 효과를 거두었지요.
수원 화성은 예술성도 뛰어납니다. 웅장한 문과 포루, 공심돈 등의 건축물은 군사 시설이라는 사실이 믿기지 않을 정도로 아름답습니다.
