Zagreb Glavni kolodvor (Main station) Croatia
Gradnja zgrade Glavnog kolodvora počela je 1890., a objekt je svečano otvoren 1892. pod imenom Državni kolodvor. Projekt za zgradu izradio je arhitekt Državnih ugarskih željeznica Ferenc Pfaff. Zgrada Glavnog kolodvora registrirana je kao kulturno dobro. Veća rekonstrukcija izvedena je za Univerzijadu (1986./87.), te ponovo 2006. godine. Zgrada je oblikovana u neoklasicističkom stilu, te je ukrašena skulpturama i dekoracijama. Dugačka je 186,5 metara.

The busiest train station in Croatia is the main station in Zagreb. The Croatian Railways (HZPP) have an interesting variety of rolling stock. A lot of the locomotives are from the Yugoslavian era, but modern HZ 6112 trains are very common as well.

Holiday season is just the right time for sharing happiness and presents, and this was the kind of atmosphere created on Zagreb's Glavni kolodvor - main railway station. In collaboration with HŽ Putnički prijevoz (Croatian railway company) Coca-Cola made many passengers happy! Those who recieved two Coca-Cola bottles shared their favorite refreshment with the others. #MakeSomeoneHappy

Zagreb Glavni kolodvor (Croatian for Zagreb main station) is the main railway station in Zagreb. Located 1 km south of the city's main square, it is the largest station in Croatia and the main hub of the Croatian Railways network.
An 1890 act of the Royal Hungarian Government authorised the building of the main station and maintenance shop in Zagreb. Construction of the 186.5 metre long neoclassical style station building was overseen by Hungarian architect Ferenc Pfaff. Sculptural works were undertaken by the Hungarian sculptor Vilim Marschenko.
The station opened on 1 July 1892.
Reconstruction works were undertaken in 1986–87 and again in 2006.
