Today, I ventured off to Cuiheng Village in Central Zhongshan. It’s an area of the city that is surprising not easy to get to using public transportation and a taxi would cost a pretty penny. However, once you get here, it’s amazing.
The entire area is preserved. You can’t take pictures inside the house, but it’s free to get in. I was the only foreigner in the area and they made that known. It’s great little tour of Chinese history and the museum has a 1st class exhibits.
Afterwards I met up with some of my friends downtown for a little late night street BBQ and beers. It was a fun, late night.

On our final day in Qingdao, the blue skies return and we visit the Qingdao Beer Museum before heading to Zhongshan Park to see a bird’s eye view of the city. On a beautiful beach we say goodbye to Qingdao while watching locals play and exercise. So many happy memories on this trip. Bros I really thought this elevator was gonna be glass. Doors open-yeet! This elevator has Hitachi VR, and this was the only elevator I saw them on. The cab, however, is really dark and humid. There was an identical elevator on the opposite side of the mall. I didn't bother filming it. This Hitachi, in particular, has an electronic rather than mechanical bell (which I don't really prefer) IMO, mechanical bells need to make a comeback. In no time, our videos will be living proof that mechanical bells once existed.

Zhongshan
Zhongshan is a prefecture-level city in the south of the Pearl River Delta in Guangdong province, China, with a population of over 3 million. The city used to be called Xiangshan.
Zhongshan is one of a very few cities in China named after a person. It is named after Dr. Sun Yat-sen, who is known in Mandarin as Sun Zhongshan. Sun, the founding father of the Republic of China who is also regarded positively by the People's Republic, was born in Cuiheng village in Nanlang Township of what was then Xiangshan County. In 1925, the year after his death, Xiangshan was renamed Zhongshan in his honor.
