    Edificio Luis Cousiño is a building was design by Isidora Goyenechea in memorial of her husband Luis Cousiño Squella . This construction, located between Errazuriz Avenue and Blanco Street in Valparaíso, was holding of Lota & Coronel Carbon Company until the arrive of Petroleum Era to Chile. It was abandonated for many years, several establishment have was there without luck. In 1994, it was declared a National Monument by the Consejo de Monumentos Nacionales.At the present, this place is part of DUOC Educational Institute.

    Biblioteca Santiago Severín is a public library located in Valparaiso, Chile. It was established in 1873, and it holds 80,000 volumes. The current building was built between 1912 and 1919, was damaged during the February 27, 2010 earthquake and later restored. It was declared National Monument in 1998.
