Exploring Hahndorf, Australia's oldest surviving German settlement
The jewel of the Adelaide Hills, Hahndorf is the oldest surviving German settlement in Australia. Located only half an hours' drive from the city of Adelaide, German heritage can be seen in the many original buildings and culture spills onto the streets of Hahndorf.
Jennifer Adams and family explores all that Hahndorf has to offer, including a visit to the iconic Hahndorf Inn. Built in 1863, the Hahndorf Inn overflows with cheer and celebrates all things German.

Australia - Adelaide - Waterfalls, Walks & Wildlife
On our second full day in Adelaide South Australia we headed off up in to the hills, firstly we visited Morialta Conservation Park and had a walk up to the network of waterfalls there. After that we had lunch in Hahndorf before going to the Big Rocking Horse at Gumeracha then to the Whispering Wall near Williamstown. The following day we went for a walk at Anstey Hill Recreation Park, then visited the beach and bay discovery centre at Glenelg before going to the Airport for our flight to Canberra.

#Murray River:
(We stayed very close by but a good place to visit to)
Goolwa is a point where the Murray river meets sea, it was a highly recommended place to visit
#Hahndorf :
Is a small town, known for its original German-style architecture and artisanal food.
One of the most busiest place and worth spending few hours walking around the street and try some new cuisine.
Bloggers and photographers your album grid is really going to look beautiful.
Note: Vegan and Gluten options were not as good as other cities in Australia.
#Sunset point: (Mountlofty)
Close to Hahndorf is a beautiful sunset point, just like painting on the pics.
(Hahndorf and sunset point in a day is best option)
- Winearies: (Tour)
SA is famous for their wineries and its a must visit.
Note: If you have to shop some wines and go back to any city in Australia check your Airlines once. (Virgin Australia allows 5kg/Person).
- Most of the Wineries there needs booking and hence pick your Wineries on ur convenience and book your convenient time.
#Beaches:
Around 10-15km close to airport there are multiple beaches. Pick one on ur convenience :)
We visited #Glenelg Beach, Bars and Restaurant near by had some fun indoor games too.
