Bovingdon is a large village in Hertfordshire, England, four miles southwest of Hemel Hempstead, and it is a civil parish within the local authority area of Dacorum. It forms the largest part of the ward of Bovingdon, Flaunden and Chipperfield, which had a population of 4,600 at the 2001 census, increasing to 8,999 at the 2011 Census.

1. Stonehenge Amesbury
Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, England, 2 miles west of Amesbury. It consists of a ring of standing stones, with each standing stone around 13 feet high, 7 feet wide and weighing around 25 tons. The stones are set within earthworks in the middle of the most dense complex of Neolithic and Bronze Age monuments in England, including several hundred burial mounds.Archaeologists believe it was constructed from 3000 BC to 2000 BC. The surrounding circular earth bank and ditch, which constitute the earliest phase of the monument, have been dated to about 3100 BC. WORLDS LARGEST TANK MUSEUM GETS EVEN LARGER!

The largest tank museum in the world just got larger!

The Bovington Tank Museum in Dorset UK has just opened a huge climate controlled conservation building that now allows it to store exhibits that are being refurbished or prepared for exhibition in the adjoining museum complex.

Part paid for by the UK National Lottery the giant building can house over a hundred vehicles, in perfect conditions.

Many rare tanks are displayed in the museum from the 1915's onwards to the present day and having this facility now means that the collection can be kept in a clean and dry environment.

TV presenters Dan Snow and Chris Barrie have close connections with the museum and were at the opening event to help publicise this new multi-million pound building.
