Aguadulce es una localidad española de la provincia de Almería, la comunidad autónoma de Andalucía y el municipio de Roquetas de Mar, situada en la comarca del Poniente Almeriense, a unos 8 km al oeste de la capital provincial, Almería por la carretera nacional (N-340a) y a 14 por la autovía (A-7). El origen de su topónimo se lo debe Aguadulce a los manantiales de agua dulce que brotaban cerca de la orilla del mar en una zona cercana al actual puerto deportivo. Esos manantiales no existen en la actualidad (2010) por haber sido cegados debido a las construcciones de la zona. Se cuenta incluso que esos manantiales brotaban dentro de la misma agua del mar dando al agua del Mediterráneo un curioso sabor a agua dulce.

FACEBOOK: MYSPACE Aguadulce is a Spanish locality of the province of Almeria, the autonomous community of Andalusia and Roquetas's municipality of Sea, placed in the region of the West Almeriense, to approximately 8 km to the west of the provincial capital, Almeria for the national road (N-340a) and to 14 for the highway (A-7). The origin of his toponym it owes Aguadulce to the springs of sweet water that were appearing near the shore of the sea in a zone near to the current sports port. These springs do not exist at present (2010) for having being blocked up due to the constructions of the zone. One tells him even that these springs were appearing inside the same water of the sea giving to the water of the Mediterranean a curious flavor to sweet water ..Glad I have.
