Costa Rica Vacation 2015

In early March 2015 my brother-in-law, Mark, my friend, Elmer, and I went on a fishing/vacation trip to Costa Rica.

This video is a compilation of places we stayed, beginning with Casa Capuchin.

We spent six nights there, while fishing out of Puerto Quepos. Casa Capuchin is located near Manuel Antonio National Park, where we spent a day.

After fishing four days, we drove north, with overnight stays in Tarcoles (Villa Lapas-Rain Forest Eco Resort and Tarcoles River crocodiles), and Aguas Zarcas (Termales del Bosque Thermal Forest - hot springs).

During this last stay, we took a day trip to La Fortuna, near the Arenal volcano, to experience jungle zip lining in the rain. Unfortunately, the volcano was not visible due to the overcast skies.

Die beeindruckende Küste an der Playa Dominical mußten wir ein zweites mal besuchen.
Wir besuchten den wunderschönen Wasserfall Nauyaca und werden ihn nicht so schnell vergessen, denn es war eine sehr ansrengende Wegstrecke von 6km Länge und mit vielen Steigungen und bei 34Grad.
Die Finca Isla bei unseren lieben Gastgeben Ingrid und Josh war unsere dritte Unterkunft und mit 14 Tagen der länste Aufenthalt.
Wie immer checken wir zunächst die Umgebung ab und es gab so einiges zu entdecken.
Aguas Zarcas war die Kleinstadt in der Nähe, aber wie viele kleine Städte nicht unbedingt sehenswert.
Im Garten und in der Umgebung fanden wir wieder sehenswerte Motive.
Ein Ausflug zu einem See brachte nur wenige Motive, da wir ohne Wegbeschreibung den Weg zum See nach unten nicht fanden.
Quesada eine etwas gößere Stadt besuchten wir wegen eines Wochenmarkt, der aber an einem anderen Tag statt fand.
