10 Best Free Things to Do in London
London is an expensive city, but being a tourist doesn't have to break your wallet. Here are 10 free or really cheap attractions in London! The first is the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace. It's the quintessential London Experience -- make sure you get there an hour early, and wait until at least 1134 when the main gates open!
2. Royal Parks
- London has tons of parks that used to only be open to the royal family, but now you can enjoy them just like the kings and queens did!
3. Sky Garden Observatory
- Get a birds eye view of London from this free Observatory on top of the Walkie Talkie building. Make a reservation in advance!
4. Walk along the South Bank of the Thames
- Known as the Queen's Walk, walking along the South Bank is one of my favorite things to do in London.
5. Watch Street Performers at Covent Garden Market
- Out in front of Covent Garden Market there always seems to be some street performers, and when one is done, another one comes out!
6. Picadilly Circus
- London's equivalent of Times Square, bright lights and big signs!
7. Tate Modern Museum
- Another great view of London, and some very interesting art
8. Go Window Shopping at London's Department Stores
- Particularly on Oxford Street, and at Harrod's, London's department stores always have really neat window displays
9. Rent a Santander Bicycle
- Ok, so it costs 2 GBP, but it's almost free!
10. Ride a Double Decker Bus
- Skip the really expensive hop on hop off busses, and go up to the 2nd deck at the front and see another neat perspective on London. Only 1.50 GBP

2012 Spectacular Waterfalls Near Portland Oregon
Take a 30 min drive outside of Portland to visit Multnomah Falls. There are a few waterfalls you can see depending on the trails you choose to take. The hike I took to get to the Triple Falls is about 3 miles round trip. Need more convincing? You can see photos on my blog.

Mrs Crawley, the owner of the house never came out of her home after the death of her husband in 23 years of her remaining life except for two times. After her death her ghost haunts the place particularly her former room. Body-less ghost, phantom face in the window, floating apparition, strange and ghostly voices, automatic turning on and off lights are some haunting experiences of the people. Some people reported that when they entered the boy’s bed room they were breathless and turned purple, they became normal after coming out from the room.

By night, Highgate Cemetery is like something out of a horror movie. Eerie crooked gravestones, headless angles covered in ivy, dark overgrown passages between the tombs, it’s no wonder this is Britain’s number-one ghost spot. Despite it’s chilling atmosphere, by day Highgate Cemetery showcases some of the Britain’s most spectacular Gothic architecture, offers fascinating guided tours. It’s also the burial place of Karl Marx.

Bhangarh Fort is on way from Jaipur to Alwar in Rajasthan, India. According to a legend, Singhia, a black magic tantrik cursed the palace so that everybody’s souls will stay there for centuries without rebirth. Another interesting point is, all the houses in this area are without roofs because whenever a house is built with roof, the roof collapses. This is the called most haunting place in India. People who visit this place experience anxiety and restlessness. It is said that nobody returns from this place that stays there after dark. Government prohibited this area from staying after sunset. You will find a board installed by Archaeological Survey of India displaying “Staying after sunset is strictly prohibited in this area”.

Located off Warner Road, the tunnel runs under the railway tracks that link Niagara Falls to Toronto and New York City.
