Rome, Florence, Venice, Lucerne, Paris, London by train
Rome to London by train, featuring the best of Italy, Switzerland, France and England. Jump to the different cities or watch it all: Rome at 2:34; Florence at 8:43; Venice at 16:53; Lucerne at 22:42; Paris at 27:50; London at 34:10; Comments at 44:39
Rome highlights include lunch at Campo dei Fiori and a walking tour to the Pantheon, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Vatican Museum and St. Peters, best of Europe.
Florence is always listed in the world’s top-ten places to visit because of the Renaissance tradition we still see in the architecture, and the overall beauty of the city, not to mention great restaurants. Our walking tour with local guide brings us to the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and across the Arno River to Oltrarno. We also enjoy steak at il Porcospino, a favorite restaurant, with a most friendly waiter, Franco.
Venice is the city of dreams, a place like no other, with water for streets and boats for cars. Our several walking tours bring us into the heart of town including: Rialto, San Marco, the Basilica, hidden restaurants, and of course, a gondola ride.
Lucerne is an ideal town to visit on your trip through Switzerland, with a lovely pedestrian zone, historic buildings in the typical style, waterfront cafes and views, and nearby mountains including Titlis, which we ascend in this journey.
Paris, perhaps the world’s most beautiful city, including: TGV arrival, walk to the Opera, Chartier dinner, stroll to Rue Montorgueil, open-top bus tour, Versailles, the Louvre, Latin Quarter and more…
London, capital of England, is our globe-trotting filmmaker’s favorite city, and this summary demonstrates why this city is so compelling. We bring you all over the center of town, including Soho, Covent Garden, Regent Street, Oxford Street, Burlington Arcade, Fortnum & Mason, Changing the Guard, open-top bus tour, Inns of Court, The City and the Tower of London.
Comments: An ideal Europe trip should include the major cities of London, Paris and Rome, along with a look at Switzerland in Lucerne, and the other greatest of Italian places, Florence and Venice. We summarize the journey with comments from our travelers about their favorites and general feelings about the trip, travelling by train and staying in each city for several days.

Holy Toledo! Walking UNESCO Toledo, Spain in 102 F.
Did the expression Holy Toledo originate because of the great cathedral in Toledo, Spain? Who knows... What I do know is sightseeing this magnificent city was a challenge during a beyond belief heat wave that stayed put over most of Europe.
Toledo is another brilliant UNESCO city that deserves an overnight stay to roam the streets in my opinion.

Love Letter to Colorado
Whether you live in Colorado or not, there’s always more to explore in this stunning state. Soothe your soul by taking a trip into the mountains; marvel at the wildlife and wide open spaces; discover the rich history and culture of the region. When you travel in Colorado, you Come to Life. Learn more and check out the vacation guide at colorado.com.
The poem used in this video was written by David Mason:
Colorado
If gravity is love of earth
the mountains teach us how to fly
and bring us back as rivers flow.
You never need to wonder why
the wild will take your breath away—
that’s how it is in Colorado.
I love her dreaming ranges,
marmot rocks and columbine.
I love the rush of mountain air
snow pluming off the peaks
and top knots of the pines,
the quiet everywhere.
Her great rivers get up and grow.
They carry the topsoil of the soul
to the primal ocean far below.
I love the bluebird and the whisky jack,
the black bear and the antelope,
the cattle drive, the buffalo.
I love the canyons of the Ancient Ones.
Maybe they vanished, maybe they’ve never gone.
Remember them among their dwellings,
pinyon cliff and watchful crow,
the painted hands and animals,
coyote’s canny, covert lope,
the mesas and the grasslands,
the Spanish names, the Ute,
Cheyenne, Arapaho,
the fancy dancer, Indian flute,
the story waiting to be told
as old, as new, as now as Colorado.
I love the switchback trail,
the wide brim shading a rancher’s eyes,
the cat you never see that sees you
under the bluest-ever skies.
Step out on a dare, and see
you’ve come here for the freedom just like me.
To camp above ten thousand feet
is to breathe the air of gods
and drink with rainbow trout.
Some come out west to beat the odds
and find out that the sky’s the limit,
some simply stare—no end to it,
the way you can love a land
and quite a few of the people in it.
Give me the sage in sunlight, warm
even in winter. Give me the moonlit snow.
Give me the book cliffs and the farms,
the wild flowers of Colorado.

Hey there!
I don’t even know where to begin with Mallorca.
Spain is a very underrated country in more ways than one.
Whenever we talk “travel”, in regards to Spain, it’s often summed up with these destinations:
Barcelona
Madrid
Seville
And if you’re a party animal…. Ibiza.
Mallorca is rarely mentioned, and for the life of me, I can’t figure out why. For some crazy reason, I think people view Mallorca as another party island that isn’t as good as Ibiza and this couldn’t be further from the truth.
As expected, we steered away from the main city, Palma, and stayed in smaller hot spots splitting our time between two opposing ends of the island. We rented a car so we can explore as we pleased. You can learn about where we went and what we did in more detail on our blog. Be sure to visit.
Did you enjoy this video? Would you consider going to Mallorca after watching it? Let us know your thoughts. Have questions about Spain? Ask us in the comment. As always give this video a thumbs up and subscribe.
