Åtvidaberg is a locality and the seat of Åtvidaberg Municipality, Östergötland County, Sweden with 6,859 inhabitants in 2010. The name is a compound word which can be translated as towards wide mountains or, jokingly, ate wide mountains, thanks to the homonym nature of the Swedish word åt.

Kolmården Wildlife Park is a zoo that opened in 1965 overlooking Bråviken bay in Sweden. It is the largest zoo in Scandinavia, includes the first dolphinarium in Scandinavia, which opened in 1969 and has daily shows, and the worlds first cable car safari. The wildlife park also has a birds of prey display and a seal show. In the Marine World area is a roller coaster called The Dolphin Express. Another, larger, roller coaster in the park is Wildfire.

Tiveden National Park is a national park situated in the Tiveden forest in the municipalities of Laxå and Karlsborg , in the historical province of Västergötland in Sweden. It is administered by Naturvårdsverket and the county of Örebro, although a part of its area is located in the county of Västra Götaland. It consists of wild forest over rugged terrain. The national park was established in 1983 and the size was initially 1,350 hectares . After an extension in 2017, it now covers 2,030 hectares
