Red Island Beach, Banyuwangi, East Java, Indonesia - Best Travel Destination
One more world-class surfing destination presented in Banyuwangi, not the G-land (Plengkung) but this named Red Island Beach. This beach has advantages compared to G-land that does not have a lot of rock like so Plengkung Red Island safer beach for surfers including beginners. Red Island beach which includes part of the coast in the south of East Java could be reached within three hours by four-wheeled vehicles or motorcycles from the city of Banyuwangi , or approximately 60 km. The location is close to residential areas in the village Sumberagung, District Pesanggaran. The access road to this place fairly smoothly so that makes it a tourist destination Banyuwangi citizens. The Red Island Beach obviously the main thing is to play surfing but for local or domestic tourists, the beach is often a family recreation destination. In some places the corner of the hill often seen paragliding enthusiasts in action. If you are interested in playing smoothly, it can be rented daddy full day at a cost of Rp 25,000, - to Rp 50,000. Exploring Eastern East Java - Banyuwangi Destinations
Banyuwangi is the eastern part of East Java province which has a lot of nature destinations. In recent years, Banyuwangi has suddenly emerged as the new hot destination for tourists in Indonesia. Located in East Java, the district’s natural beauty has rivals it’s more popular neighbor, Bali, as it retained much of the pristine nature that is increasingly rare on Bali due to rapid commercialization.
The district capital is also named Banyuwangi. The layout of the district. Banyuwangi is most tip of Java island. The town is bordered by several areas such as Situbondo regency in the north, the Strait of Bali in the east, the southern Indian Ocean and Jember.

Banyuwangi, salah satu kabupaten eksotis di ujung timur pulau Jawa dengan julukan The Sun Rise of Java (tempat matahari terbitnya pulau Jawa).
Julukan ini bukan sekadar julukan; matahari terbit identik dengan keindahan dan Banyuwangi memiliki segala jenis keindahan yang perlu dimiliki oleh sebuah destinasi pariwisata. Sebut saja pariwisata alam, Banyuwangi memiliki sederet nama-nama destinasi wisata yang tersohor seantero dunia.
1. Kawah Ijen - siapa yang tidak kenal dengan nama Kawah Ijen? Sebuah kawah dengan api biru (blue fire) satu-satunya di dunia. Dan itu bukan satu-satunya daya tarik; panorama alamnya yang eksotis dan serasa berada di planet lain membuat tempat ini wajib dikunjungi sebelum kita mati. 2. Kawah Wurung, tempat ini hanya sepelemparan batu dari kawah ijen sekitar 10 km dari Paltuding (kaki gunung Ijen), mungkin kawah ini tidak seterkenal kawah Ijen tapi eksotisme alam-nya tidak kalah dengan kawah Ijen. Seperti berada di negara-negara dengan padang rumput luas seperti New Zealand.
KOREKSI : Kawah Wurung termasuk kabupaten Bondowoso. Tapi bisa menjadi destinasi kunjungan ketika ke Banyuwangi.
3. Pelabuhan Muncar - merupakan pelabuhan Ikan terbesar di Indonesia yang wajib dikunjungi. Karena ikan yang anda makan hari ini mungkin berasal dari sana.
4. Pantai Plengkung (tidak ada dalam video ini) - tapi akan segera diliput pada kunjungan berikutnya. Tempat ini merupakan tempat surfing dengan kualitas ombak salah satu yang terbaik di dunia. Setara dengan Hawai Amerika Serikat.
5. Baluran (tidak ada dalam video ini) - sebuah taman nasional eksotis yang ada di ujung utara kabupaten Banyuwangi.
Masih banyak lagi tempat-tempat wisata lain yang wajib dikunjungi di Banyuwangi.
Selain wisata alam; Banyuwangi juga memiliki kesenian budaya yang unik dan wajib dilihat seperti misalnya tari Gandrung yang terkenal dan Jaranan. Event-event budaya sangat sering dilakukan di Banyuwangi.
Makanan. Jika bicara makanan - Banyuwangi tempat yang tepat untuk makan. Selain murah, enak namun juga variatif. Jangan kaget jika makan disini dan gak enak bayarnya karena kemurahan.

Banyuwangi, one of the most exotic regency at the eastern end of Java Island.Banyuwangi is well-known as The Sun Rise of Java.
The nickname was not just a name; Banyuwangi indeed is as beautiful as the sun rising on the horizon. This regency has many tourism destination which is a must visit place before you die.
1. Kawah Ijen - who is not familiar with the name of the crater? A crater with a blue flame (blue fire) the only one in the world. And that's not the only attraction; exotic natural scenery and seemed to be on another planet -- makes this place a must-see before you die.
Don't be surprise when you see supermen carrying heavy sulfur on their back for a living.
2. Kawah Wurung, this place is so near to Kawah Ijen about 10 km from Paltuding (foot of Mount Ijen), maybe not as famous crater Ijen crater but its exotic nature are not inferior to the Ijen crater. Like being in countries with vast grasslands like New Zealand or maybe Scotland.
3. Muncar Harbor (Pelabuhan Muncar) - the largest fish port in Indonesia that must be visited. Because the fish you eat today may have come from there.
4. Plengkung beach (not in this video) - but will soon be covered in my next visit. This place has the best surfing waves in the world - equivalent to Hawaii, United States.
5. Baluran (not in this video) - an exotic national park in the north side of the district of Banyuwangi.
In addition to natural attractions; Banyuwangi also has a unique culture and art shall be such as the famous dance gandrung and Jaranan. Cultural events very often do in Banyuwangi.
One more thing that makes me feel at home here is the city scape is full of trees and it feels not so hot even though this city is near the sea level.

Indonesia | Travel to AMAZING Sumatra, Java, Bali & Lombok!
My friends and I have been traveling through Indonesia for one month. We visited Sumatra, Java, Bali, Lombok and the Gili islands. I think Indonesia is truly an amazing country to visit.
We started on the island Sumatra where we went to Bukit Lawang, situated in the northern part of Sumatra. This place is well known for it’s jungle with still loads of wild orangutans! Doing a jungle trekking is really amazing since you have a very big chance of seeing wild orangutans. We saw loads and they even came up to us and grabbed us; unreal! Furthermore we’ve also been on lake Toba for a couple of days. A beautiful lake with an island in the middle. It was nice to relax for some days.
After Sumatra we flew to Yogyakarta were (obviously) we’ve visited the stunning Borobudur temple. We’ve not seen much more there because the day after we were gonna head to the east of Java, Banyuwangi, where you can find the awesome Ijen volcano. In the night we started climbing the volcano and after some time you will see this beautiful crater and the famous ‘blue fire’. Once down the crater, it started to become light and slowly the sky turns in all these beautiful colors while the sun is coming up. It’s only then you start seeing the beautiful light blue lake and the yellow colors in the crater. It was such nice experience!
After Java we went to Lombok by boat and bus. Were we stayed in Kuta, this really chilled surfer hotspot. From there we rented a scooter and drove around Lombok. We also had a nice day at the beach of Selong Belanak. After spending some days on Lombok we took the boat to the Gili islands, the island Gili Trawangan (the party island) to be precies. These islands are close to the northwest of Lombok. Three beautiful small islands surrounded with nice blue water. Ideal for snorkeling trips or diving. But I have to say that I did not like the way they treat the horses on the islands that are used for transport all over. It’s just really sad! Please do not support this kind of transportation if you are there.
After the Gili’s I unfortunately had to say goodbye to my friends and I hopped on the boat to Bali, where a bus drove me to Kuta. Although it’s quite a touristy place, I really enjoyed it over there. Kuta beach is just amazing, with perfect surfer waves rolling in the whole day. Unfortunately I could only spend like three days on Bali, so I only stayed in the Kuta area. But I will definitely go back to Bali to see the whole island!
I really enjoyed my travels through Indonesia. Friendly people everywhere and just amazingly nature and beautiful culture. I will be back!
