1. Bon Echo Provincial Park Cloyne
Bon Echo Provincial Park is a provincial park in southeastern Ontario north of Kaladar, approximately 6 kilometres north of Cloyne. Bon Echo features several lakes, including part of Mazinaw Lake, the seventh-deepest lake in Ontario. The southeastern shore of Mazinaw Lake features the massive 100 m high Mazinaw Rock, an escarpment rising out of the water, adorned with many native pictographs. The unofficial mascot of Bon Echo Park is the Ojibwe trickster figure and culture hero, Nanabozho, who is among the over 260 pictographs found in the area. Pictographs are often confused with petroglyphs, which are rock carvings rather than the rock paintings found on Mazinaw. The site of the Mazinaw pictographs was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1982.

The Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve Ltd. is a privately owned forest, comprising 300 square kilometres in Haliburton County, Ontario, Canada. It is about 270 kilometres northeast of Toronto, and just south of and abutting Algonquin Provincial Park. Haliburton Forest is a multi-use forest, with attractions such as the Haliburton Forest Wolf Centre, a canopy walk as well as the world's only freshwater tour submarine. Haliburton Forest operates recreation, tourism and education programs year-round. Its forestry operations were the first to be certified by the international Forest Stewardship Council in Canada. Haliburton Forest supports ecosystem based research projects, primarily conducted by the University of Toronto's Faculty of Forestry.

ROAD TRIP | Cottage by the Lake Ontario, Canada #1

Every summer my friends and I would plan at least one road trip over the long weekend. This year's cottage trip had to be the best one ever because it was certainly the best time I had. I challenge myself with my fear of water and not being able to swim. I not only went on canoeing and pedal boating. For me being the city girl, it is quite an achievement. The cottage itself is just gorgeous with the lake view right outside the door just few steps away. It was definitely the lifetime experience to be had with friends and family.

Guests will be picked up in Boston in the morning. After lunch, we will arrive in Ottawa, ON to see the Canadian Tulip Festival. After, we will head to ByWard Market for food and shopping. We will transfer to the hotel after dinner.

Ottawa, ON Located on the Ottawa River in eastern Ontario, Canada's capital city is also its center of technology and politics. This historic city features many museums, art galleries, and performance centers as well as other attractions like the Rideau Canal.

Canadian Tulip Festival This massive flower festival held annually in Ottawa, Ontario bills itself as the largest tulip festival in the world with more than one million of the flowers on display. It gets more than 500,000 visitors every May.

ByWard Market This massive indoor market is one of Ottawa's biggest tourist attractions. It contains representatives from more than 500 business, at least half of them local artisans and farmers. It sees the most traffic during the summer months.

In the morning we will leave the hotel. On our way back to Boston we will stop at Ottawa's Parliament Hill to see sights such as the Peace Tower. We will arrive back in Boston in the evening. See "Departure and Return Details" for pickup and dropoff information.

Parliament Hill, located on the banks of the Ottawa River Canada's capital city, is home to the Canadian Parliament. The gorgeous location and dramatic architecture make this a huge tourist location-- more than 3 million people come every year.

The Peace Tower is a large clock tower in Ottawa, Ontario that sits at the center of Parliament Hill. This iconic Canadian building appears on both the fifty- and twenty-dollar Canadian bills. It is more than 300 feet tall.

Canada 150 with Ford: Fogo Island, Newfoundland

Ford Canada sent us on a stunning road trip adventure for Canada 150. We flew from Toronto to St. John's, Newfoundland, and then drove to the beautiful Fogo Island and the stunning Fogo Island Inn. For our trip we were equipped with the stylish, comfortable, and powerful 2017 Ford Edge Titanium. All footage was shot using the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
