Longhorn Cavern State Park is a state park located in Burnet County, Texas, United States. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is administrator of the facility. The land for Longhorn Cavern State Park was acquired between 1932 and 1937 from private owners. It was dedicated as a state park in 1932 and in 1938 was opened to the public. In 1971, the cavern was dedicated as a National Natural Landmark. The park's administration building was listed as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1989.

Inner Space Cavern is a karst cave located in Georgetown, Texas. The cave was discovered by the Texas Highway Department in 1963 during the construction of Interstate 35. There were several large openings to the caverns during the Ice Age, and several skeletons of prehistoric Ice-Age animals have been found in the caverns; many were trapped in the cave after they fell through the opening, unable to escape, and others drowned in thick, quicksand-like mud at the bottom of watering holes. Some filled-in sinkholes have been found, including the prehistoric entrance to the caverns. Several miles of cave passage have been surveyed, with many sections of the cave remaining unexplored, due to filled-in areas blocking passage. Chemin-A-Haut State Park is a 503-acre site located in northern Morehouse Parish, Louisiana. Visitors may access the park from U.S. Highway 425 about 10 miles north of Bastrop. Chemin-à-Haut means High Road in French. Much of the park is on a high bluff overlooking winding Bayou Bartholomew. Chemin-A-Haut was one of the earliest additions to the Louisiana State Park system. The Nature Conservancy in Louisiana has recently acquired the 247-acre DeBlieux tract, located in a large bend of Bayou Bartholomew, and will eventually transfer the land to the State of Louisiana. The property will be added to Chemin-A-Haut, thus increasing the park's size to 750 acres . Bayou Bartholomew contains over 115 fish species, one of the highest counts of any stream in North America. Road Trip #158 - US-80 W - Monroe, Louisiana

In this video, we drive west on US Highway 80 across the city of Monroe, Louisiana...the parish seat of Ouachita Parish. Here, US-80 is named Desiard Street, for Bayou Desiard, which runs just to the north of the highway. After crossing US Highway 165, US-165 Business route runs concurrent with US-80 for several miles. US-80 becomes Louisville Avenue. At 5th and 6th Streets, US-165 Business turns away to the north, and Louisiana Highway 15, comes in from the north, and overlaps US-80. At the Ouachita River, we leave Monroe, and enter West Monroe, and end this video.
