1) Haunted Mansion, Bangalore
In St.Marks Road (some of the sources have informed that this mansion was demolished in February 2014).
This house belonged to two Anglo-Indian sisters, Vera Vaz(80) and her younger sister Dolce Vaz(75) who was murdered in this house in front of her sister by an unknown assailant, it is said that she was buried in the house itself which now stands deserted as nobody wants to live there or buy that property.Many people have claimed to be witness of paranormal activities around here like sounds of piano during night, unexplained noises and even a simple walk around this place would given you an eerie experience.
2) Kastoorbha Medical College, Manipal
The stairways of the Kastoorbha Medical College is said to be haunted by an unseen person who claims to be trapped in the 8th floor, though the college building doesn’t have an 8th floor.
3) Haunted house, Udupi
A man who had a good reputation and standing within his community, committed suicide after he found that his son had entered into the field of crime. His soul was so much in pain that even after his death, his soul still wanders this house and the house now stands deserted.
4) Victoria Hospital, Bangalore
This place is one of those places where a lot of paranormal activities have been reported. A media report from a few years ago mentions a “hungry ghost” in the vicinity of the morgue that had finished off a packet of biryani another such story is about the mischievous ghost that used to drink tea from students cup. These spirits or ghosts do look hungry and thirsty by their acts.
5) Ballalbagh, Mangalore
In 2007 at an under-construction building near Shree Devi College at Ballalbagh, people reported hearing sounds of newly-born babies and woman wailing and pleading for help. The shocking part is that there was no one inside the building when people went in to help and this carried on for many days...
6) Haunted flat, Hubli
A couple moved into this flat in the mid of 2012. The wife started noticing strange things inside the house, suddenly the lights would switch on and off and certain marks were found on her body which had formed after shifting to this house as if she had been assaulted. A priest was called in, who cleansed the entire area and then the paranormal activities stopped.
7) ECC - 79, Mysore
According to the legend, a person had committed suicide here and people have experienced paranormal activities since then. It is one of the most haunted places in Mysore.

9) Sixty graves, Bijapur
Afzal Khan murdered his 63 wives at a well near Saath Kabar.The trigger which caused this tragic decision was the prophecy that his astrologers had given that he would lose the war against Shivaji and would also surely die. He, therefore, took his wives to a well at the outer limits of the fort city and pushed them into the well one by one and killed them. When two of his wives tried to escape, they were chased by his soldiers and killed. This well is supposed to be haunted and on certain nights people have heard noises coming out from the well.
10) Kumta
The haunting of a white haired evil witch, has been experienced by many on the Muroor Road. According to the legend, people who see her get sick and the experience haunts them for days...

Bijapur, officially known as Vijayapura is the district headquarters of Bijapur District of Karnataka state of India. It is also the headquarters for Bijapur Taluka. Bijapur city is well known for its historical monuments of architectural importance built during the rule of the Adil Shahi dynasty. Bijapur is located 530 km northwest of the State Capital Bengaluru and about 550 km from Mumbai, and 384 km west of the city of Hyderabad.
Bijapur, one of the popular heritage city located in the Karnataka state of India is also one of the top ten populated cities in Karnataka. The Bijapur city has been declared as one of the corporations in the state of Karnataka last year.
Bijapur, the land of five rivers and the domain of different cultures, is an ancient city. The city established in the 10th and 11th centuries by the Chalukyas of Kalyani was known as Vijayapura (City of victory). Bijapur was the biggest district place of the state with 11 taluks, but after forming Bagalokote new district in 1997 Now it consists of five taluks viz. Basavan Bagevadi, Bijapur, Indi, Muddebihal and Sindagi.
The city was established in the 10th-11th centuries by the Kalyani Chalukyas and was known as Vijayapura (City of victory). The city was passed to Yadavas after Chalukya's demise. The city came under the influence of the Khalji Sultanate in Delhi by the late 13th century. In 1347, the area was conquered by the Bahmani Sultanate of Gulbarga. By this time, the city was being referred as Bijapur.

Ibrahim Rauza
The most beautiful and splendid of all Adil shahi funerary monuments in Bijapur.
Taj Sultana, Ibrahim’s principal queen, offered this architectural masterpiece in 1633 to her husband, Ibrahim II.
Both King and Queen are buried in the dark vaulted chamber of the mausoleum. After the queens death, the work was completed by her trusted minister, the Habshi Malik Sandal.
The chamber is lit by arched window openings filled with inscriptions from holly Quran. There is a common believe that the structure was an inspiration for Shajahan to construct the world famous Taj Mahal in Agra. Most of the wood works in the structure is done with teak wood.
Malik - i - Maidan
Malik - I - Maidan, or lord of the battle field.
This cannon was manufactured for the Nizam Shahis of Ahmadnagar, and transported to the battle against Vijayanagara dynasty at Talikota war. It was subsequently brought to Bijapur in 1632 as a war trophy.
The cannon is fashioned into the head of a lion holding small elephants in its savage teeth.
55 ton weight of the cannon make it one of the largest cannon in the world.
Bara Kaman (Tomb of Ali II Adil Shah)
This is the last royal mausoleum to be built in the city.
The Bara Kaman was built in 1672AD, by Ali Adil Shah II.
However, the work on the structure was left incomplete because the sultan was constantly threatened by Mughals empire.
Jal Mandir
This early - 17th century structure is set within a square pool.
It was originally intended as a reliquary for the two hairs from the Prophet’s beard.
Anand Mahal.
Constructed by Ibrahim II in 1591.
AsarMahal
Asar mahal was erected in 1646 by Muhammad Adil shah.
Asar Mahal was originally intended as a hall of public audience, but within just a few years, it was converted into a religious building.
Upli Buruj
This structure was built by famous commander Hyder Khan in the year of AD 1584.
Upli Buruj was a watchtower to watch the sights outside the fort wall and to detect the presence and movements of enemies.
For the defence purpose of the city two cannons were implemented at the top of the tower.
From the top of the tower a unique view of the Bijapur city is available.
Jami Masjid
This mosque built by Ali Adil shah in the 16th century was the largest mosque in the entire empire.
The mosque is also called in the name Juma Masjid in Bijapur.
Gol Gumbaz
Gol Gumbaz is the most popular heritage structure in Bijapur.
Gol Gumbaz is the mausoleum of.
It is one of the largest single chambers ever built.
Construction of Gol gumbaz was started in 1626 and completed after 30 years in 1656.
