Texas Hollywood/Fort Bravo is a Western-styled theme park in the province of Almería in Spain. Built in the early 1970s, it lies a few kilometres to the north of the N-340 road highway , near the town of Tabernas. Around 1977, Rafa Molina, a stuntman, bought the set for US$6,000 to improve his job opportunities if the set was to be used for filming. In the early 1980s, he started charging visitors money to tour the set. Mock shoot-outs and barroom brawls were later added, and one of the buildings was converted into a full saloon to sell beer. It is now known as Fort Bravo. The building architecture in Texas Hollywood is of two different styles built back to back split between two different areas. Une aventure médiévale est offerte au Château San Miguel les mardi, jeudi et samedi. Elle consiste, entre autres, à profiter d'un banquet médiéval et assister aux tournois des chevaliers Le prix d'entrée est de 48 euros par personne.

Dès 20h00, une séance de photos est offerte devant le château. Il est alors possible de se faire photographier en présence des chevaliers bien installés sur leurs montures.

Nous sommes par la suites invités à entrer dans le château. On nous offre de porter une espèce de chasuble ainsi qu'une couronne et puis, chacun à tour de rôle se fait photographier en compagnie du duc et de la duchesse. Aucune possibilité de prendre une photo avec son conjoint ou sa famille. Une seule personne à la fois.

On entre par la suite dans l'enceinte où sera présenté le tournoi. Des bancs sont installés en rangées de chaque côté de l'enceinte. Nous sommes divisés en deux groupes. Chacun des groupes sera invité à appuyer son équipe de chevaliers.

Le repas, servi durant le tournoi, consiste en un potage de légumes, un poulier entier avec pommes de terre, vin rouge ou blanc, eau minérale, boissons gazeuses et crème glacée. On mange avec nos doigts, aucun ustensile n'est offert puisque nous sommes à l'époque médiévale.

Nous avons bien apprécié le spectacle. Les chevaux sont magnifiques et les chevaliers démontrent leur habileté lors de différents tournois.
