Bundanoon village, NSW, Australia

A portrait of the quaint village of Bundanoon in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. The video does not include shots of the nearby picturesque Norton National Park.

Bundanoon, like its fellow Southern Villages of the Southern Highlands, New South Wales, has had a boom-and-bust economic cycle. The town became a well-known tourist destination early in the 20th century; its picturesqueness and the exquisite scenery of what is now Morton National Park, combined with being a stop on the CityRail railway line, made it a pleasant and convenient holiday area for city dwellers who could not afford the more expensive accommodation at the popular Blue Mountains resort area. By the 1950s, however, changes in lifestyle, particularly the affordability of the motor car, gave city dwellers more options, and Bundanoon declined.

The Sydney real estate boom of the early 21st century made Bundanoon an affordable haven within commuting distance of the City. Property values increased several-fold, and houses in Bundanoon were selling for over a million dollars by 2007. A moratorium has been placed on the construction of new subdivisions until the area's sewerage system can be upgraded.

It is inscribed on the UNESCO List of World Heritage Sites, quote: Pattadakal, in Karnataka, represents the high point of an eclectic art which, in the 7th and 8th centuries under the Chalukya dynasty, achieved a harmonious blend of architectural forms from northern and southern India. An impressive series of nine Hindu temples, as well as a Jain sanctuary, can be seen there.

Bhasma aarti at Shri Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain starts at 4 am every day. I happened to visit the temple of Mahakaal in mid November 2017.

I got opportunity to be there are Aarti in morning, it was a lifetime experience to be there.

I met Mr. Dinesh Diggaj, who helped us in explaining about Ujjain city, plus some background of Bhasama aarti that happens at Shri Mahakaleshwar temple.

Important information with regard to Bhasma aarti at Shri Mahakleshwar temple Ujjain.

1. Online booking: You can refer to this website, as booking needs to be done for aarti..

2. Dress code: Ladies needs to wear saree and men need to visit Dhoti , entrance not allowed if dress code is not followed.

3. Mobile phone not allowed inside the temple, there is a place in the temple where you can keep your mobile phone or purse or anything else like your belt as leather belt is also not allowed in the temple.

Miss Tibet 2017 woman contestants show us how they wear a chupa - their national dress in Tibet.

This year the Miss Tibet pageant has the highest number of contestants with nine Tibetan beauties competing for the crown. They are Chemi Kyizom (20) from Delhi, Migmar Dolma (22) from New York, Saldon (19) from Vienna, Tenzin Khechoe (22) from Bangalore, Tenzin Nordon (20) from Chauntra, Tenzin Norzom (22) from Manali, Tenzin Paldon (21) from Kollegal;,Tenzin Yangkyi (25) from Byalakuppe and Tenzin Yeshi (20) from Bylakuppe, Karnataka.

The competition was held in the northern Indian hill town of Dharamsala where the Tibetan government-in-exile is based. It is also home to the Dalai Lama, Tibet’s Buddhist spiritual leader.
The three-day event had seven rounds including a swim-suit, talent, talk and traditional costume rounds.
