Benidorm is a city and municipality in the province of Alicante in eastern Spain, on the Mediterranean coast. Mundomar is a marine animal park located in Benidorm, in Costa Blanca, Spain. It is twinned with the water park Aqualandia, which is directly adjacent to it, and shares the same car park. There is a viewing area at the top of Mundomar next to the Dolphinarium, which gives a view of the majority of Aqualandia. Many different species can be viewed at Mundomar, including dolphins, sea lions, penguins, meerkats and many more marine and land animals. There are dolphin, sea lion, and parrot displays several times a day at the park, where visitors can watch trained handlers interacting with the animals, and putting on spectacular shows. Mundomar is usually open from February to December.

Aqualandia is a waterpark, located in Benidorm in the Costa Blanca, Spain. It is twinned with the marine animal park Mundomar, which is immediately next door to Aqualandia, and shares the same free car park. Water is sourced directly from the sea. Aqualandia contains many water attractions, including water slides, swimming pools, river rapids and sunbathing areas.

Terra Mítica is a theme park located in Benidorm, Comunitat Valenciana, Spain. The park is divided into 5 themed zones: Egypt, Greece, Rome, Iberia, and the Islands . The park opened in 2000. From 2004–2006, the park went through a bankruptcy process. In 2001, a year after park opening, Paramount Parks entered into an agreement to manage Terra Mitica, and the park was branded as a Paramount Park for the following season. In 2004, Paramount Parks filed for the Spanish equivalent of bankruptcy protection from its creditors. Since then, the park has been operating independently. Terra Mítica emerged from temporary receivership in 2006, after restructuring its expenses, reducing labor costs, and canceling debt through the sale of excess park land. Benidorm - The tourist capital of ther Costa Blanca

In the centre of the La Marina Baixa region, is the popular Spanish resort of Benidorm, one of the main tourist destinations along the Costa Blanca.

Thanks to its orientation, Benidorm has a micro climate, which makes for high temperatures all year round. Add that to its excellent beaches, wide variety of accommodation, restaurants and many recreational activities means it’s a hit with tourists from all over Spain and Northern Europe.

It is located between Alicante and Valencia and easily reachable from those two cities.
