African Penguins at Bettys Bay - South Africa

This video is about the African penguin colony that live at Stony Point in Bettys Bay – South Africa. These birds are extremely cute and adorable and definitely worthwhile visit. Betty´s Bay is about a 90km drive from Cape Town. The African penguin is also known as the jackass penguin because they make donkey-like sounds when they communicate.This species of penguin is only found in the waters of southern African. The Afican penguins live in large colonies. They are classified as Endangered because it is undergoing a very rapid population decline, probably as a result of commercial fisheries and shifts in prey populations. This trend currently shows no sign of reversing, and immediate conservation action is required to prevent further declines

14 Tage Roadtrip Garden Route - unsere Flitterwochen in Südafrika

Unsere Hochzeitsreise haben wir in Südafrika verbracht. Wir haben einen 14-tätigen Roadtrip entlang der Garden Route gemacht.

Gestartet sind wir in Kapstadt und haben dann an in Hermanus, Oudtshoorn und Plettenberg Bay übernachtet. Zwischendurch haben wir immer wieder an atemberaubenden Orten angehalten z.B. in Betty´s Bay, Nature´s Valley oder dem Tsitsikamma Nationalpark.

Zum krönenden Abschluss haben wir eine 2-tägige Safari im Kariega Game Reserve gemacht, bevor wir dann von Port Elizabeth wieder zurück nach Deutschland geflogen sind.

A short movie I've made during my film trip (Holiday) in South-Africa. We drove 3600 kilometers in a rental car to see all the beautiful and spectacular landscapes in this awesome country.
We stopped a lot near the road to fire up the drone. The shots in CapeTown are made from out a Helicopter.
