Riding Mountain National Park is a national park in Manitoba, Canada. The park sits atop the Manitoba Escarpment. Consisting of a protected area 2,969 km2 , the forested parkland stands in sharp contrast to the surrounding prairie farmland. It was designated a national park because it protects three different ecosystems that converge in the area; grasslands, upland boreal and eastern deciduous forests. It is most easily reached by Highway 10 which passes through the park. The south entrance is at the townsite of Wasagaming, which is the only commercial centre within the park boundaries.

Asessippi Ski Area is the largest ski resort in Manitoba. It has a vertical drop of 400 ft, the second largest in the province. It is approximately 8 kilometers from Inglis, Manitoba, 30 kilometers south of the town of Roblin, and 20 kilometers north of the town of Russell. The resort is built into the side of the Shell River Valley, and is close to Asessippi Provincial Park.

Business Road Trip to Edmonton

My boss sent me to Edmonton, AB for a business meeting. This is just a video of my road trip. Nothing special, but I still decided to film it. I sped it up to make it go faster but since I don't know how to edit properly the sped up parts have no sound. (I still need to figure out how to put in music). Plus there's a little musical montage by me lol. Closer to the end I do some talking and such.

Wayne's restaurant has been serving the community for 22 years. It was a place of great food, great love and great times. Losing it was a tragedy. However, something amazing happened. The community came together quickly. The Youth For Christ drop in ran a coffee house starting at 6am every day. People of all ages came and served coffee, brought baked goods and donated money. Everything raised went to the families affected by the fire. It once again showed the type of people we have here and the calibre of our students. Churches and businesses alike came together and a lot of money was raised. Really, this shouldn't be called the town of MacGregor, it should be called the family of MacGregor. We would love to use the $25,000 to build some hope around our youth drop in, whether it's skateboard park, basketball courts or street hockey. It's our way to give back to the teens who do so much to serve our community. Please vote for MacGregor Manitoba for Manitobaville 2012. Thanks and have a great day!
