Rurukan _one of the most beautiful places in Indonesia
There are east of the City Tomohon, toward the mountains there Mahawu agro location, with the spread of agricultural plantations managed by local people traditionally. With simple tools of this agricultural site located between the hill slopes-made beds, beds in terraces, at the time of horticulture crops started to grow, will give birth to a beautiful view of the cooling. North Sulawesi Dive Trip - Part 2 : Lembeh Strait, Bitung
Lembeh Island lies directly opposite the port city of Bitung, which is the 2nd largest city in Northern Sulawesi after Manado. Between Bitung and Lembeh Island you find the Lembeh Strait, internationally famous for its amazing muck diving conditions.
Muck diving is all about spotting tiny underwater critters, species that you would normally not look for or find easily during a regular dive. Diving at Lembeh Strait means you are on the lookout for numerous weird but amazing looking species such as the Pygmy Seahorses, Bangaii cardinalfish, Mimic Octopus, Coleman, Hairy, Commensal, Emperor and Tiger Shrimps, Hairy, Painted and Striated Frogfish, numerous types of nudibranches and many, many other species. For obvious reasons is Lembeh a real paradise for those that are into underwater macro photography.

It was hard at the first time to spot those creatures but eventually it became more interesting and exciting since we found rare creatures such as mimic octopus, flying gurnard, frog fish. Unlike our dives at Bunaken which more focus on corals and turtles, this site offer new experience for us. Proper buyoancy is important because sometimes we had to be close enough to the sand to see the creatures. It means that if you're still kicking the sand, you'll ruin the visibility the entire area (just like I did :p)

Manado: Manado is the capital city of the North Sulawesi province of Indonesia. Manado is located in the Bay of Monado, and is surrounded by a mountainous area.
Waruga Stone: Waruga are a type of sarcophagus or above ground tomb traditionally used by the Minahasans of North Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Bunaken: An island part of the Bunaken National Marine Park. Bunaken is located at the northern tip of the island of Sulawesi.
Tangkoko National Park: The Tangkoko Nature Reserve is a flora and fauna conservation area on Mount Tangkoko in the district of Bitung in the province of North Sulawesi, about one hour's drive from Monado. The monkeys were Crested Black Macaques!
