1. Bru na Boinne Donore
Brú na Bóinne or Boyne valley tombs, is an area in County Meath, Ireland, located in a bend of the River Boyne. It contains one of the world's most important prehistoric landscapes dating from the Neolithic period, including the large Megalithic passage graves of Knowth, Newgrange and Dowth as well as some 90 additional monuments. The archaeological culture associated with these sites is called the Boyne culture. Since 1993 the site has been a World Heritage Site designated by UNESCO, known since 2013 as Brú na Bóinne - Archaeological Ensemble of the Bend of the Boyne.

The Wicklow Mountains form the largest continuous upland area in Ireland. They occupy the whole centre of County Wicklow and stretch outside its borders into Counties Dublin, Wexford and Carlow. The mountains are primarily composed of granite surrounded by an envelope of mica-schist and much older rocks such as quartzite. They were pushed up during the Caledonian orogeny at the start of the Devonian period and form part of the Leinster Chain, the largest continuous area of granite in Ireland and Britain. Powerscourt Estate , located in Enniskerry, County Wicklow, Ireland, is a large country estate which is noted for its house and landscaped gardens, today occupying 19 hectares . The house, originally a 13th-century castle, was extensively altered during the 18th century by German architect Richard Cassels, starting in 1731 and finishing in 1741. A fire in 1974 left the house lying as a shell until it was renovated in 1996. Originally the family seat of the Viscounts Powerscourt, the estate has been owned by the Slazenger family, founders and former owners of the Slazenger sporting goods business, since 1961. It’s such a beautiful Pleace if you get to visit it’s €6 for the day to see the place the shows and the planetarium

I've just added a new video to my Tourism: Ireland playlist: of an exploration of Drogheda in Ireland. Drogheda is is one of the oldest towns in Ireland. It is known for its tourism and as a centre of industry and medical care. It is located on the Dublin–Belfast corridor on the east coast of Ireland, mostly in County Louth but with the south fringes of the town in County Meath, 49 km or 30 miles north of Dublin, and has a population of approximately 41,000 inhabitants (2016), making it the third largest town by population in all of Ireland. We were up before sunrise in Galway to start our road trip through the West of Ireland. Our first destination was the famous and sometimes elusive Cliffs of Moher. They are Ireland's top tourist destinations.

We have a few travel tips in this video about what to consider when traveling to see the Cliffs of Moher. Danielle has been to the cliffs a few times before so using her experience we planned well and had a great view when we arrived. Battling sinus and allergies isn't enough to keep us locked up inside on a nice, sunny, spring day in Cork. We're still new to the city and really wanted to take the opportunity to get out and explore. We read about some self-guided walking tours that are marked around the city to help anyone looking to learn more about Cork, Ireland's history. We thought it would be a good way to get to know Cork while getting in some cardio!
