Blaine Washington And Peace Arch Border Crossing HD 1080
Blaine Washington is located right on the US/Canadian Border in Northwest Washington. Blaine WA is also home to the Peace Arch Park along with White Rock British Columbia.
Some residents of Blaine have proposed the city change it's name to Blaine Harbor but the city voted it down. Some people choose to call it Blaine Harbor anyway.
The Peace Arch Park allows you to visit both countries and walk across the border.
The park is especially beautiful in the spring time when both countries seem to try and out do each other with their flower displays. Admission to the park is FREE.
Blaine Washington has a popular boating harbor with both American and Canadian vessels. Semiahmoo is a gated golf community on the West side of Drayton Harbor. Semiahmoo was once home to the largest Salmon Cannery in the world. The old Cannery is now a Resort Hotel And Spa. Semiahmoo is also popular with television and movie stars filming in Vancouver who prefer to live in the United States.

BORDER CROSSING BETWEEN CANADA & USA HD
The Peace Arch Park and border crossing is a popular entry point into the United States/Canada located on the border between northwest Washington State and British Columbia. The Peace Arch Crossing allows people to wander the park on both sides of the border without going through customs.
It is also an interesting place to see a portion of one of the largest unprotected borders in the world. But unprotected doesn't mean it isn't monitored and patrolled. It is just not militarized. There are plenty of cameras, sensors and border agents on patrol to stop any illegal activity.
The Peace Arch Border crossing where most Canadians come through when visiting Seattle or just coming south for a shopping day trip.

March 31, 2019 - Spring has sprung in the Pacific Northwest! Today I am taking a sunny Sunday drive from the Vancouver suburb of Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, across the border to the nearby dormant volcano (and largest mountain on the horizon), Mount Baker, in Washington State (USA)!
There is no quick or direct way between these two cities, but the drive sure is scenic, particularly on State Route 542 through the Cascade Mountains.

North Cascades, Lavenworth HW #2 & Lake Chelan in Washington State
We were driving from Bothell to Lake Chelan which is a distance of 175 miles on a 2 day trip. Since the route is mountainous and curvy it took more time to maneuver the hills while enjoying the most beautiful place on earth. The entire route is picturesque and we stopped at many places on the way. We stopped at Deception Falls, Lake Wenatchee, Leavenworth, Peshastin, Wenatchee and River Columbia. We also stopped at Chelan County hydroelectric dam and inside the dam we saw Salmon traveling upstream. Lake Chelan is a natural lake formed by glacier water. The water in the lake is pristine and clear. I enjoyed in the water swimming for some time. On the way we stayed in Holiday Inn near Wenatchee. The way is full of fruit plantation like apples and varieties of pears. We stopped to buy pears. We drove all in our black pagoda.
