Boissevain is an unincorporated urban community in Manitoba near the North Dakota border that held town status prior to 2015. It is located within the Municipality of Boissevain – Morton. Boissevain is a community of just under 1,500 people and it is between Killarney and Deloraine on the east and west with Brandon in the north. The population of the surrounding area, within a 50 kilometre radius of the community, is about 15,000.It is notable for its proximity to the International Peace Garden, a short drive south on Highway 10. Turtle Mountain Provincial Park is a provincial park located in the southwestern portion of the Canadian province of Manitoba. Within it are the Adam Lake and Max Lake campgrounds. The park is known for its bike trails, fishing, back country cabins and canoe routes. The park is very popular with families and outdoor enthusiasts. The park is named after the numerous painted turtles found in the area. The turtles can be seen throughout the warmer months sun bathing near permanent ponds or lakes in the park. Souris is an unincorporated urban community in the Municipality of Souris – Glenwood within the Canadian province of Manitoba that held town status prior to January 1, 2015 . It is located within the municipality along the Souris River, from which it takes its name. The community is home to Canada's longest historic cable-stayed footbridge , known as the Swinging Bridge, which spans the Souris River that divides the community. The Swinging Bridge was built in 1904 as a means of transportation over the Souris River. Residents of Souris are referred to as Sourisites. Souris is surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Glenwood. The community was home to Alice Masak French, an Inuvialuit author from Baille Island in the Northwest Territories.

Spruce Woods Provincial Park is located in south-central Manitoba, Canada where the Assiniboine River passes through the delta of sediment left by the last glaciation. An area of open and stabilized sand dunes within the park provides habitat to species of plants and animals not found elsewhere in Manitoba. In descending order of land area contained, the park lies within the Rural Municipalities of South Cypress, Victoria, and North Cypress. The Government of Manitoba designated the area a provincial park in 1964. The park is 269 square kilometres in size. The park is considered to be a Class II protected area under the IUCN protected area management categories.

Gladstone Manitobaville 2012

Why is Gladstone Manitobaville? Great students, excellent community and tons of fun things to do. Our students help people locally and globally. With groups like Warriors for Change our teens do things like find sports equipment for local kids, serve coffee at the senior centre and raise money to help people in places like Africa and Costa Rica. Our community supports our students in many ways. One way is to build a very unique youth drop in that will be a tourist attraction and a fun place for people of all ages.
