Bukovel is the largest ski resort in Eastern Europe situated in Ukraine, in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast of western Ukraine. A part of it is in state property. The resort is located almost on the ridge-lines of the Carpathian Mountains at elevation of 900 m above the sea level near the village of Polianytsia . It is one of the most popular ski resorts in the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains and is situated 30 km southwest of the city of Yaremche. In 2012 the Bukovel was named the fastest-growing world ski resort.

Clips from my recent trip to the Carpathian mountains in Romania, for an Erasmus+ project! The Carpathian mountain range ranks now among my favorite hiking areas. Also, I show you a bit of Bucharest, which is the capital of Romania. Peaks I reached are Giumalău &Rarău, really recommend to check yourself the Carpathians! :)

This has been my first time in Romania, and it has been pretty much nice. To be honest, it hasn't been anything mind-blowing, but yes, it has been good!
