Exploring Chincheros, Peru (with kids)
Chincheros (or Chinchero) is also home to a beautiful 17th century colonial church, which was built directly on top of an Inca temple or palace. Inside the walls and ceilings are covered in intricate paintings – definite worth a peek (we weren’t allowed to take photos). In the plaza outside this catholic church artisans sell their wares. We bought a gorgeous rug from a very fragile-looking old lady and a couple of Peruvian pipes for the children from a man whose marketing skills we couldn’t help but admire!.

I've been on budget travel since 06/Jun/17 to see the world, meet people, and eat local food. What's the country is like? Food? Culture? People? What's the life like there? I heard it's dangerous but is it true? I need to go and see rather than just believe everything I hear from TV, people or the Internet.
Subscribe to my channel and follow my journey! I'll show you great cultures and attractions in each place and how awesome traveling is!
I hope you can enjoy my videos and get inspired to go backpacking!!
Check out my Instagram and twitter too! There you can see where I really am at the moment.

6-month Backpacking Trip around South America
After graduating college, I took a gap year to travel the world. This is a video of the second-half of that year: my 6-month backpacking trip around South America visiting Peru, Bolivia, and Argentina. I am super outdoorsy so I spent a significant amount of time during this trip hiking my way around breathtaking mountain ranges, pitching up my tent, and sleeping under the stars. =)
Important hiking circuits completed: Santa Cruz Trek +Lake 69 (6 days, Huaraz), Huayhuash Circuit (10 days, Huaraz), Macchu Picchu day hike/summit (Cuzco, Peru), Huayana Potosi glacier climbing (La Paz, Bolivia), Aconcagua Confluencia Camp (Mendoza, Argentina.)
Below is the time/city breakdown of my 6-month trip:
PERU
Total time spent: 3.5 months
Cities covered: Piura, Mancora, Chiclayo, Cajamarca, Chachapoyas, Trujillo, Huaraz, Lima, Huacachina, Nazca, Paracas, Cuzco, Puno
BOLIVIA
Total time spent:: 1 month
Cities visited: Copacabana, Isla del Sol, La Paz, Rurrenabaque, Uyuni
MENDOZA:
Total time spent: 1.5 months
Cities visited: La Quiaca, Mendoza
Almost all of the footage in this video was filmed using a GoPro Hero 4 Silver Edition. The little footage that wasn't was filmed using random phones.
