Le Puy Camino, La-Puy-en-Velay to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port - CaminoWays.com - Unravel Travel TV
The Le Puy Way also known as Via Podiensis or Chemin du Puy in French, starts in the spectacular town of Le Puy-en-Velay, in central France. It follows the GR65 trail and is the most popular of the Camino de Santiago routes in France. Both the Geneva Way and the Cluny Way join the Le Puy route at Le Puy-en-Velay. The Le Puy Camino route is a superb hike taking in stunning countryside and some of the most beautiful towns in France. The volcanic landscapes of Velay, the peaceful Aubrac plateau, the beautiful towns of Conques, Cahors and the Lot Valley, the splendid vineyards of Armagnac brandy and the outstanding Pyrenees Mountains are some of the highlights on the Le Puy Way. The route joins up with the French Way, the famous, Camino Francés, in Saint Jean Pied de Port, on the French side of the Pyrenees.

The ground floor is completed by a luxury bath/shower with hydro-jet massage and WC.
In the first floor you will find 3 bedrooms plus a WC with hand basin. Here you can sleep with open windows, listening to the peace of the night.
In 2007 the owners finished the restoration of the last part of this property a stunning 2nd salon in a barn of more than 100m2 with 2 mezzanines areas on different levels. This gives the potential to create here 2 further bedrooms or living-rooms or whatever you wish. This area also has another WC, an access to the garden.
A beautiful big garden with very old walnut trees, a superb fenced heated pool of 10 x 5 (1.2 - 1.75m depth) with Roman steps and a paved sun terrace.

Other features include an electric gate with videophone, automatic lighting for the outside-lamps, a large private parking and a lovely illuminated heated pool for superb evenings.
The nearest shops, restaurants, and school can be found at St-Yrieix-la-Perche or Jumilhac-le-Grand (both only 7 km). The Perigord with its many lakes and rivers is a region where nautical activities and water sports are very accessible. Limoges with its International airport is just 53 km distant. It's possible to buy more land, if you need at a supplementary price. The only buildings nearby are a small pottery of the neighbour and a barn for hay for their horses.
