Boquete Panama Travel Guide | Top Things To See And Do | 90+ Countries With 3 Kids
Welcome to Boquete, a small, charming mountain town in Panama!
It is hidden on 1,200 meters above the sea level, in green mountain highlands, only 40 miles from the border between Panama and Costa Rica, on the Caldera River. Pleasant climate, scenic landscape, and natural environment make Boquete a popular tourist and retirement destination. Some people say it resembles a Swiss Alpine village, only located in South America.
As Panamians love to party, you can expect to enjoy monthly fiestas and music events whenever you come here.
We stayed at Los Molinos and had a fantastic time. We went on the most amazing hike down a trail that lead to a beautiful waterfall and experienced first hand the powerful flow of the river below.
We also met the most amazing people and were even invited to spend the night at one of their homes/farms.
Enjoy the video and make sure to comment below where you're watching from!
Stay tuned because the next video will be all about why people retire in Boquete Panama.

Hot Springs | Pozos Termales |Volcan, Chiriqui, Panama [4K]
••• SUBSCRIBE TO MY CHANNEL HERE: •••
Hello world!
Welcome to another travel vlog! During my visit to the province of Chiriquí in the Republic of Panama. I was in the small of town Volcán, which is at the base of the Baru Volcano. The Baru Volcano is an active volcano (last time it erupted was around the mid 1500's) and is the tallest mountain in Panama at 11,398 feet (3,474 meters).
This was my first time in Chiriqui and the weather was great! I must say, I didn't feel like I was in Panama. It was in the mid 60's to low 70's (fahrenheit) the whole time I was there!
In this video we specifically went to Los Pozos or Los Pozos Termales, which is about 40 minutes away from the Volcán town. I had heard about these natural thermal wonders in the area so I made it our first stop. We were able to relax in the warm pool, but a few yards away was a really cold river where we actually spent most of the time.
Anyhow, I hope you like this video! Thanks for watching!

Lonely Planet Panama Panama Trip
My trip to Panama.
I go on a month long trip to Panama visiting many sights. Searching high and low and going off the beaten path. This is my adventure log of sorts. From the mountainsides of Caldera. To the growing city of David. The dilapidated beauty of Caso Viejo with its architecture and old style theatres is a sight to behold.
I enter the Chiriqui Provence and have a great time with the locals. The rivers, streams, valleys and springs are all equally beautiful. Panama from what I experienced is a place with serious character and texture. With something new around every corner I don't waste any time in seeing what there is to try.
Take a look and see if Panama can lure you in. Enjoy.

Best Places to visit in Panama
Tour Panama – Part 2
Best Places to visit in Panama
Playa Las Lajas
Playa Las Lajas is a beautiful beach that extends for more than 13 km (8 miles) along the Gulf of Chiriqui on the Pacific Coast. With little current and perfect water temperatures, Las Lajas is ideal for swimming and bodysurfing.
Isla Taboga
Isla Taboga is Panama’s favorite escape out of the city to bathe in its sandy beaches, ride Jet Ski’s, speed boats and fishing charters.
Pearl Islands
The islands gained new popularity after being featured on the reality television show Survivor. The islands feature lush forests surrounded by white sandy beaches. Contadora Island is the most developed of the Pearl Islands, with several resorts and an airstrip. Visitors can charter private yachts to cruise and explore the islands.
Amador Causeway
The Amador Causeway connects the three islands by the entrance to the Panama Canal to the mainland. From the causeway, there is a terrific view of Panama City, and the Bridge of the Americas. Many Panamanians like to spend their weekends jogging, riding a bicycle or rollerblading down the causeway, or having a meal or drinks in one of the many restaurants and bars on the islands.
Sendero Los Quetzales
The trail winds through the cloud forest of Parque Nacional Volcán Barú and follows the Río Caldera, crossing it several times en route. It ends in the mountains above Boquete. The trail can also be hiked in reverse, but it’s entirely uphill from Boquete.
Santa Catalina
The international surfing community has tried to keep this idyllic spot a secret, but the word is out that Santa Catalina offers world-class surfing. It’s beautiful beach surrounded by jungle forests makes it an ideal destination for those who wish to enjoy Panama’s natural beauty.
San Blas Islands
the San Blas Islands is the best place to explore the rich culture of Panama’s indigenous people, the Kuna. The Kuna people view this area as their own but are warm and welcoming to visitors.
Coiba
The waters of Panama are unmatched in their level of marine diversity, and nowhere is this more evident than in the Coiba National Marine Park. The island of Coiba is the largest island in the park, as well as the largest island in all of Central America. More than 800 species of marine life are present in the area. The park is known as one of the best places to enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving on the Pacific Coast.
Bocas Town
An extensive coral reef features colorful varieties of tropical fish. Discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1502, the area remains one of the most popular tourist attractions in Panama. In Bocas del Toro, visitors routinely hike through the lush rainforest to enjoy empty stretches of beautiful shoreline.
Panama Canal
The Panama Canal stands as one of the world’s greatest feats of engineering. Visitors can take either a partial or complete crossing of the canal. Crossings take four to eight hours. Many visitors choose to explore the canal by visiting the Miraflores Locks Museum.

Jungle Adventure in Boquete! MUST WATCH!(Panama Vlog)
Got a little bored at the hostel so I decided to go out on a little adventure. Boquete is a beautiful town located in the Northern region of Panama and it is famous for their coffee. How to get to Cerro de la Pierda:
From Boquete city center simply take a cab or walk roughly 8km to a hostel called Casa Pedro. The taxi ride should not cost more than $3. Once you arrive follow the road up along side the property and you will find the trail. You'll doubt yourself a couple of times, but trust in the trail and just continue up it! NORWEGIAN BLISS Docking in PUERTO CALDERA, Costa Rica l Cruise Vlog l Ep. 14
It's a new day which means we are docking in Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica! The sail in is very pretty as you cruise past lush jungle and cargo ships. Lots of people recommend to book an excursion for this port since there is not much to do right at the industrial cruise dock. Some other cruise ships dock at another port in Costa Rica-Puntarenas. The tour we're doing today is through Norwegian Cruise Line though most other cruise lines offer this tour as well. It is called: A REAL COFFEE EXPERIENCE. Here is the tour description from NCL's website:
This experience allows for an intimate glimpse inside one of the most important aspects that defines Costa Rica as the strongest nation in all of Central America. Coffee cultivation has been the primary source of income for many Costa Rican families since the turn of the 19th century. You’ll visit a 670-acre cooperative farm owned by more than 2,300 farmers of who 60% are women. Each member contributes almost 10 acres of land to the coop. The coffee that they cultivate and produce is sold directly to one of the largest coffee companies in the world, Starbucks. This coffee is also purchased by Rainforest Alliance, an organization that focuses on the conservation of biodiversity and sustainable development.
You’ll experience first hand the coffee roasting process and have the chance to sample the flavorful brewing. Also see how the coffee beans, also known as cherries, are picked, sorted, peeled, fermented and sun-dried. Learn many interesting facts that may change your appreciation of this highly consumed beverage. Feel free to browse the selection of hand-made souvenirs before heading to the town of Sarchi. A photo-stop will be made at the largest oxcart monument ever built and a stop at the factory that made it; see the ancient water wheel that propels most of the machinery they use to cut and saw the wood.
As always, make sure to watch in HD for the best video quality! Hope you enjoy! :)
