The canton of St. Gallen, also canton of St Gall , is a canton of Switzerland. The capital is St. Gallen. Located in Northeastern Switzerland, the canton has an area of 2,026 km2 and a resident population close to half a million as of 2015 . It was formed in 1803 as a conflation of the city of St. Gallen, the territories of the Abbey of St. Gall and various former subject territories of the Old Swiss Confederacy.

    The Seerenbach Falls are a cascading set of three waterfalls near Betlis of the Amden municipality near the Walensee, Switzerland. The upper cascade has a height of 50m, the middle one of 305m, and the lower one of 190m, for a total of 585m.The middle section is the second highest waterfall in Switzerland, after the Mürrenbach Fall .

    Titlis is a mountain of the Uri Alps, located on the border between the cantons of Obwalden and Bern. At 3,238 metres above sea level, it is the highest summit of the range north of the Susten Pass, between the Bernese Oberland and Central Switzerland. It is mainly accessed from Engelberg on the north side and is famous as the site of the world's first rotating cable car. The cable car system connects Engelberg to the summit of Klein Titlis through the three stages of Gerschnialp , Trübsee and Stand . The last part of cable car leads above the glacier. At Klein Titlis, it is possible to visit an illuminated glacier cave from an entrance within the cable-car station, which also includes shops and restaurants.
