Visit delightful Isabela province
This video is all about the beautiful country that is the province of Isabela Philippines.
Adventures of Gerald and Rhia honors and pays reverence and tribute to this great province. We are staying true to our love for travel as main inspirations that led to the creation our channel that aims to explore and document life's wonders.
Isabela, the second largest among the Philippines’ 80 provinces, is located on the northeastern seaboard of the island of Luzon – the biggest among the 7,107 islands comprising the Philippine archipelago.
In terms of physiography, the province is divided into three distinct areas: Western, Eastern, and Coastal Isabela. All three are straddled by the majestic Sierra Madre Mountains, the longest mountain range in the Philippines. Isabela is home to one of the largest remaining rainforests in the world known as the Northern Sierra Madre Natural Park, a government reservation covering 3,590 square kilometers of terrestrial and marine ecosystems rich in genetic species and biodiversity. The park is considered among the global top ten biodiversity hotspots.
A fertile valley between the foothills of the Central Cordillera mountain range to the west and the Sierra Madre to the east, Western Isabela has flat and rolling terrain subdivided by several tributaries into smaller valleys and plains. Criss-crossing the area is the Cagayan River, the Philippines’ longest river.

This week we travel to Sipalay. What an amazing place! Find all information down below :D

--HOW TO GET TO SIPALAY--
Take the direct bus from Bacolod (about 5 hours) to Sipalay town. Or a minivan (p350). Minivan is a bit faster than the big bus, but since it might take a longer time to leave and you’re more cramped inside, I am not sure what the best option would be. I like the big bus better ;)
From Dumaguete: take a bus to Bayawan, Hinoba-an. It will cost you 6 to 7 hours. It will cost you just over 200 pesos with public transport (p120 + p75 + p35). If you hire a van it would be 5000 in total, which is not worth it if you are a solo traveler like me ;)
If you stay in Dauin, no need to go to the busstop in town. It’ll pass by the resort. Unless you want to be certain to be seated ;)
And it might seem complicated (as a foreigner) to go from bus to bus, but people are very helpful along the way and if you leave one bus, the next one will be already there! No worries. It’s just a day you lose on traveling. But it’s worth it ;)
--WHAT TO SEE IN SIPALAY--
I did two tours.
► One was to Danjugan island (next video).
► The other tour was a tour to the highlights of the main land.
p1000 for half a day or p1500 for a day trip. It’s a trycicle trip, so again, make friends and you’ll split the costs.
You need to pay entrance fees along the way (from 30 pesos to 80 pesos according to the place) and lunch is not included.
What I saw was 2 resorts (including perth resort, with the infinity pool) – the cave which is really cool! (100 pesos for the guide with light, I gave him 150 since it was quite a hike).
You can arrange this tour with Roland Dequina – rolandtours.wordpress.com or 09489358749
Tell him you found him through this video! Not because he’ll charge a fee for me ;) Just because it’s nice to know how people find out about you And I am curious for that as well!
I believe you can also get into a kano, more island hopping, archery…. There is a whole lot more to explore but I’ll leave that to you!
--WHERE TO SLEEP IN SIPALAY--
I would highly recommend Takatuka Lodge! Love the place! Inspired on Pippi Longstocking’s tale, with a lot of weird rooms all over the place. Different themes like the cave room, superstar, rockadilly, a castle… you name it ;) It’s seriously the best hotel I’ve been in in the Philippines (and I have been to a lot I love ;) – It’s so funky and unique, the owners and staff are friendly and helpful, the food is great, they attract friendly guests, the beach is just there. AMAZING! Seriously. Go here. GO! What are you waiting for? ;)

--WHERE TO EAT IN SIPALAY--
Because I stayed on Sugar Beach, there’s not much options to get out for dinner. You can’t just leave and get back after dark I stayed at Takatuka mainly for food, and it’s good! Not cheap but a whole lot of variety, and great healthy stuff.

Stunning Cauayan Isabela
This video is all about the beautiful country that is the city of Cauayan Isabella Philippines.
Adventures of Gerald and Rhia honors and pays reverence and tribute to this great city. We are staying true to our love for travel as main inspirations that led to the creation our channel that aims to explore and document life's wonders.
Cauayan, officially the City of Cauayan, (Ilokano: Siudad ti Cauayan; Ibanag: Siudad nat Cauayan; Filipino: Lungsod ng Cauayan), or simply Cauayan City is a 3rd class city in the province of Isabela, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 129,523 people.[
A small town is founded in 1852 along the Cagayan River and in 2001, converted to a component city. During the Spanish regime, the city is a part of the Tobacco industry. Cauayan City is nearly the geographic center of the province and bordered by 7 neighboring towns which makes it as an important economic center of the province. In the recent years, there is an increase in economic activities.
Cauayan City is a fast-growing rural industrial center centrally located in the province and in the entire stretch out of Cagayan Valley. It is about 375 kilometers northeast Manila; 34.5 kilometers south of Ilagan, the capital city of Isabela; about 48 kilometers north Santiago City; and roughly 117 kilometers away from Tuguegarao City in Cagayan Province.

Cauayan, Isabela - Camella Cauayan
Maharlika Highway, Sillawit, Cauayan City, Isabela
Camella Cauayan makes it easier and so much more inviting to live in what could be one of the finest places to set down a home in the country. Camella Cauayan brings back a time of quaint, villages where homes blended with the flora and the land. The homes in Camella Cauayan float in landscaped gardens that line the streets, color mini-parks, and crawl gracefully along trellised balconies. An elegant tree-lined avenue welcomes one into the community from the closely guarded main entrance gate. Containing fewer than 1,000 homes to allow for open areas and space to breathe and grow, Camella Cauayan offers a variety of home models from the Jewel, Camella and Lessandra series. Camella Cauayan includes a Mediterranean-inspired clubhouse with swimming pool, playground, basketball court— and surrounded by landscaped parks. Camella Cauayan is protected by a perimeter fence, round-the-clock security and roving guards. A shuttle service will take the residents around the property and nearby transportation sites.
Camella Cauayan’s location so close to central Isabela in Barangay Sillawit fits the bill perfectly. Its 20 hectares lie on Cauayan’s rolling plains, a quick seven minutes to the Cauayan Airport and 15 minutes to the Cauayan Central Terminal by car. Add another easy 10 minutes if one is planning to commute.
