Pennsylvania, a northeastern U.S. state and one of the 13 original colonies, has a diverse terrain, which includes wide stretches of farmland, national forests and mountains. Philadelphia, the Keystone State’s largest city, displays its rich history in Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, an enduring symbol of American freedom.
Pennsylvania is downright beautiful. It is home to some of the country’s richest history, incredible culture and, yes, a picturesque scenery.
The Appalachian Mountains sit here, and the state has more than 120 state parks, with over 100 miles of coastline, and a varied selection of great towns and cities,
each with its own character.
Mountain climbers will love this state, so will surfers, skydivers and skiers even, depending on where you are in the state.
Little wonder the Keystone State is widely considered one of the best states to retire.
The natural allure aside, this is a notion mostly driven by other key factors for anyone interested in the hard data:
economic vibrancy (this is the sixth largest state economy), good health care, school districts that are a cut above the other states, affordability, low rate of homelessness and a high quality of life.
Here then, are the 10 best places to live in Pennsylvania to help inform your decision better.
1. Pittsburgh.
2. Philadelphia.
3. Penn Wynne.
4. State College.
5. Mount Lebanon.
6. Radnor Township.
7. Bethel Park.
8. West Chester.

Top 10 Best Places To Live in New York
New York is a state in the Northeastern United States and is the 27th-most extensive, fourth-most populous, and seventh-most densely populated U.S. state. New York is bordered by
New Jersey and Pennsylvania to the south and Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont to the east. The state has a maritime border in the Atlantic Ocean with Rhode Island,
east of Long Island, as well as an international border with the Canadian provinces of Quebec to the north and Ontario to the west and north. The state of New York, with an
estimated 19.8 million residents in 2015, is often referred to as New York State to distinguish it from New York City, the state's most populous city and its economic hub.
Home to both the largest city and biggest state park in the country, New York provides residents with urban playgrounds and impressive natural amenities.
While New York City garners much of the tourism attention, the rest of the state offers highly livable communities.
New York City boasts one of the most expensive costs of living in the country, making it the ultimate challenge to find a place to live.
Where you want to live — and where you can afford to live — depends on many factors. Neighborhoods vary in their perks and downfalls when it comes to price,
commute distance, transportation access, nightlife, and other lifestyle amenities.
The ranking determined the overall livability by weighing factors such as education, cost of living, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics,
and access to amenities.
We’re here to show you that not only are there actually some really cool places in New York other than New York City, but, according to our analysis,
there are quite a few that are a whole lot better.
Here are the 10 best places to live in New York:
1. Mamaroneck, Westchester County.
2. Kensington, Nassau County.
3. Scarsdale, Westchester County.
4. Brookville, Nassau County.
5. Saratoga Springs, Saratoga County.
6. White Plains, Westchester County.
7. Tarrytown, Westchester County.
8. Rye, Westchester County.
9. Brighton, Monroe County.
10. New Rochelle, Westchester County.

Myrtle Beach is a coastal city on the East Coast of the United States in Horry County, South Carolina. It is in the center of a large and continuous 60-mile stretch of beach known as The Grand Strand in northeastern South Carolina.
Ranked as the second fastest-growing metropolitan area in the country (per 2018 census estimates), Myrtle Beach is one of the major centers of tourism in South Carolina and the United States because of the city's warm subtropical climate and extensive beaches, attracting an estimated 14 million visitors each year.[5] As of the 2010 census, the population of the city was 27,109,[6] and in 2016 the estimated population was 32,240.[7] The Myrtle Beach metropolitan area had an estimated population in 2016 of 449,495.[8]Geography
Myrtle Beach has been separated from the continental United States since 1936 by the Intracoastal Waterway,[17] forcing the city and area in general to develop within a small distance from the coast. In part due to this separation, the area directly northwest of Myrtle Beach, across the waterway, remained primarily rural for a while, whereas its northeastern and southwestern ends were bordered by other developed tourist towns, North Myrtle Beach and Surfside Beach. Since then, the inland portion of the Myrtle Beach area has developed dramatically.
Myrtle Beach is 67 miles (108 km) by highway southeast of Florence, South Carolina, 94 miles (151 km) northeast of Charleston, South Carolina, and 74 miles (119 km) southwest of Wilmington, North Carolina.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has an area of 23.6 square miles (61.0 km2), of which 23.3 square miles (60.4 km2) are land and 0.2 square miles (0.6 km2), or 1.03%, are water.[6]
