  • 1. Hokuriku Shinkansen Kanazawa
    The Hokuriku Shinkansen is a high-speed shinkansen railway line jointly operated by East Japan Railway Company and West Japan Railway Company , connecting Tokyo with Kanazawa in the Hokuriku region of Japan. The first section, between Takasaki and Nagano in Nagano Prefecture, opened on 1 October 1997, originally called the Nagano Shinkansen . The extension to Toyama in Toyama Prefecture and Kanazawa in Ishikawa Prefecture opened on 14 March 2015. Construction of a further section onward to Fukui and Tsuruga in Fukui Prefecture commenced in 2012, with scheduled opening in fiscal 2022. The route of the final section to Shin-Osaka was decided on 20 December 2016 as the Obama - Kyoto route, with construction expected to begin in 2030 and take 15 years.

    The Tarumi Line is a Japanese railway line in Gifu Prefecture, between Ōgaki Station, Ōgaki and Tarumi Station, Motosu. It is the only railway line Tarumi Railway operates. There was a freight rail service that transported cement for Sumitomo Ōsaka Cement of Sumitomo Group Gifu factory. It once accounted for 40% of the whole revenue, but the freight operation ceased in spring 2006.

    The Fujikyuko Line is a Japanese private railway line in Yamanashi Prefecture, between Ōtsuki Station in Ōtsuki and Kawaguchiko Station in Fujikawaguchiko. It is the only railway line operated by Fuji Kyuko. The railway line officially consists of the Ōtsuki Line and Kawaguchiko Line , but the two lines are operated as one. The line can be traced back to the Tsuru Horse-drawn Tramway which began operation in 1900.

    The Etsumi-Nan Line is a railway line in Gifu Prefecture, Japan, operated by the third-sector operator Nagaragawa Railway . The line connects Mino-Ōta Station in Minokamo with Hokunō Station in Gujō. It is the only railway line operated by the Nagaragawa Railway. The line was originally operated by Japanese National Railways . JNR planned to connect the Etsumi-Nan Line and Etsumi-Hoku Line , but the plan was never realized. The north line was later succeeded by West Japan Railway Company , while the south line was taken by Nagaragawa Railway, a newly founded third-sector company, in 1986. As the company name suggests, the line runs along Nagara River. As a consequence of Japan's declining population and frequent natural disasters , the company is facing financial difficulties.

    The Gakunan Railway Line is Japanese railway line between Yoshiwara and Gakunan-Enoo, all within the industrial area of Fuji in Shizuoka Prefecture. The line does not have any official name. The operator company was established on April 1, 2013 as a subsidiary of the former operator Gakunan Railway , a subsidiary of Fuji Kyuko.

  • 10. Genbi Shinkansen Niigata
    The E3 series is a Japanese Shinkansen high-speed train type built for Komachi services which commenced on 3 June 1997, coinciding with the opening of the new Akita Shinkansen mini-shinkansen line, a regular 1,067 mm narrow-gauge line between Morioka and Akita re-gauged to 1,435 mm standard gauge. Later versions of the E3 series were also introduced for use on Yamagata Shinkansen Tsubasa services. Both mini-shinkansen lines join the Tohoku Shinkansen, providing services to and from Tokyo.
