Cloutierville is an unincorporated community in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, United States. It lies approximately 20 miles south of the city of Natchitoches on the Cane River. The community is part of the Natchitoches Micropolitan Statistical Area, off exit 119 of Interstate 49. This is a homeland of many multiracial Louisiana Creole people. It is in the NPS Cane River National Heritage Area.

1. Biedenharn Museum & Gardens Monroe Louisiana
The Biedenharn Museum and Gardens is a home museum and botanical garden located beside the Ouachita River at 2006 Riverside Drive in Monroe in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, United States. It is open Monday-Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The Biedenharm Museum was built in 1913 as a private home by Joseph A. Biedenharn, who is credited with first bottling Coca-Cola in the summer of 1894 while living in his birthplace of Vicksburg, Mississippi. The original Biedenharn Home, built in 1913, is open for tours and furnished as it was during the residence of Joseph Biedenharn's daughter, Emma Louise Emy-Lou Biedenharn, who died in 1984. Natchitoches, Louisiana's oldest town, established 1714 will be 300 in 2014...amazing little city...
Although Louisiana has a history of slavery as a visitor seeing the old plantation homes, hardwood trees alive with more song birds than I've ever heard, meandering rivers and historic cities was one of the highlights of our travel. Note I say one of because there are many amazing places to discover in the USA.

Road Trip #164 - US-80 W - Minden and Dixie Inn, Louisiana

We continue west on US Highway 80 into the city of MInden, the parish seat of Wester Parish. US-79 Truck runs concurrent with US-80 here. At Sheppard Street, US-79 and US-80 Truck turn left to bypass the downtown area. At Main Street, US-80 joins US-79 in the downtown area. After leaving Minden, we enter the village of Dixie Inn, concluding at the western limits of Dixie Inn.

Road Trip #160 - US-80 W - Claiborne to Ruston, Louisiana

We continue west on US Highway 80, beginning at the western border of the community of Claiborne. US-80 crosses to the south side of I-20, and passes through the census designated place of Calhoun. Then, we cross into Lincoln Parish at the Louisiana meridian, and pass through the village of Choudrant, home of the annual Outhouse Grand Nationals outhouse races. We conclude as we enter the city of Ruston, Louisiana.

Road Trip #104 - I-55 South - Exit 102, Jackson to Exit 72, Crystal Springs, Mississippi

We begin the trek south on I-55 from Jackson, Mississippi, in Hinds County, through part of Rankin County, and the city of Flowood, onto part of I-20 West and US-49 North, and then south on a concurrency with US-51 South. We pass through Byram and Terry and end at Crystal Springs in Copiah County.
