Constanza Dominican Republic - Bountiful Harvests In The Mountains - Part 1

Constanza Dominican Republic is not only the source of countless bountiful harvests of fresh vegetables and fruits, it is also a feast for your eyes. The team headed out to explore the mountains and valleys surrounding Constanza. This was our first foray into this area and we were not disappointed. As you will see in this video and part 2, everywhere you look you are treated to breathtaking mountain panoramas and hillside farms. Endless farms of cabbages, strawberry's, apples, peaches, garlic and potatoes... to name a few. Constanza is also home to a wide variety of flowers, roses and other landscape plants.

I would not recommend this trip through rocky and sometimes almost washed out roads without a 4 wheel vehicle, or maybe a truck with larger tires. But with the right vehicle, this trip from Cabrera over to Constanza is a real treat for the eyes.

In the video I am in Santo Domingo, the capital city of the Dominican Republic. I walk around Zona Colonial which is in the old historic area. I video in two of the main attractions you should visit. The first place is Independence Park, and the second place is Columbus park with Catedral Primada de América.

JARABACOA 4k Dominican Republic SO LUSH ! DJI MAVIC PRO

We spent the day in Jarabacoa which is a beautiful town in Dominican Republic in a mountainous area. There's so much to do! We had lunch at Corazon de Jesus thanks to our great friends who took us around, we got ice cream and went horseback riding.

We flew our drone in Jarabacoa and captured the palm trees and forest that spans for what seems like an eternity, so stunning & relaxing to be around!

I hope you guys enjoy this vlog, the next one will be CAYO ARENA, I'm so excited to share it with you!

Jarabacoa Dominican Republic Vacation 2016 - Best Place To Sit Out The Storm

Jarabacoa Dominican Republic is the ideal place to sit out a little tropical storm. The crew headed up in the mountains of the Dominican Republic to enjoy the cooler mountain temperatures and fast flowing rivers of the region. Unfortunately the rains blown in from offshore were just enough to muddy up the mountain off-road trails we love to explore so we were forced to just sit out the rains in the comfort of a terrific mountain resort.

Check out the river views just off our terrace in our room at the Jarabacoa lodge. Great food. Great room. Incredible views. Definitely a must for your bucket list next time you come to the DR. You may even want to tack on a few days to stay in Jarabacoa when you come over on one of our free Discovery Tours of the North Coast.
