Hasta sus alrededores llegaron los fenicios hace 3.000 años para fundar la colonia llamada Xera, la ciudad que mas tarde se llamó Ceret bajo el dominio romano, y Sheres o Xeres cuando fue fortaleza árabe.
Hoy proponemos una mirada a la historia y el arte de los conventos de esta magnífica ciudad. Descubriremos la riqueza arquitectónica, artística y culinaria de estos lugares espirituales. También comprenderemos su peso a lo largo de la historia de Jerez. Todo ello en un paseo que nos hará disfrutar del entorno.

The Magic of Spain and Spanish Guitar
This is a video for those who like to watch people, and who take pleasure in the sight of the sea. It is also for those who like to listen to good music. The sea in this case is surveyed from the seaside town of Conile de la Frontera, on the Atlantic coast of Andalusia, and the music is, of course, Spanish, played by Julian Bream.
