The Cranmore Tower is a 45 metres tall 19th century folly in the parish of Cranmore, Somerset, England. The site is 280 metres above sea level, and is the highest point on the Mendip Way. The tower was built in 1862-1864, by Thomas Henry Wyatt for John Moore Paget of Cranmore Hall . There is a viewing area at the top with pair of semi-circular headed openings to each face with a restored iron-railed balcony beneath each pair. A similar balcony just over halfway up is continued right round the tower. It has been designated by English Heritage as a grade II listed building.In World War II it was used as a lookout tower by the Home Guard and the Royal Corps of Signals.By 1984 the tower had fallen into disrepair and was sold to Donald Beaton who undertook repairs. It consists of a ring of standing stones, with each standing stone around 13 feet high, 7 feet wide and weighing around 25 tons. The Hawk Conservancy Trust is a bird park and conservation charity that cares for and displays birds of prey. It is located in Weyhill, Hampshire, England, near to the A303 road and the town of Andover. Founded as a zoo by local farmer Reg Smith and his wife Hilary, the park was incorporated as the Hawk Conservancy Trust in 2002. It is also the site of the National Bird of Prey Hospital, a veterinary hospital that takes in injured birds of prey.

It is about 1 mile north of the village of Wool and 12 miles west of the major port of Poole. The collection traces the history of the tank. With almost 300 vehicles on exhibition from 26 countries it is the largest collection of tanks and the third largest collection of armoured vehicles in the world. It includes Tiger 131, the only working example of a German Tiger I tank, and a British First World War Mark I, the world's oldest surviving combat tank. It is the museum of the Royal Tank Regiment and the Royal Armoured Corps and is a registered charity.

In this travel vlog we visit a secret medieval castle in a small village in Somerset called Nunney. Best of all, it was free! Then we found out another castle was closed and ended up at Sham castle looking over the city of Bath. This was the worst castle we have been to and we do not recommend it but there are plenty of castles to see and things to do in England.

Visiting Cranmore Adventure Park in North Conway, NH

Our family had a fun day on the mountain. We tried some of the adventuresome rides, such as the Alpine Coaster, the Summer Tubing, and the chair lift. We especially enjoyed the beautiful fall weather and colorful foliage.

The Alpine Coaster footage begins at 3:24 in the video, and ends at 5:13.
