TARAKLI GEZİSİ
Sakarya’ya bağlı Taraklı beldesi, 'sakin kentler' arasında yer alıyor. İstanbul’a yaklaşık 2 saat uzaklıkta yer alan Taraklı, aynı zamanda eski bir Osmanlı köyü. Ahşap evleri ile Safranbolu‘yu andıran bu beldede, kısa bir taraklı belgeseli çektik; kısa sürede gezip görebileceğiniz bir belde.
Öte yandan, 2010'da Şener Şen, Olgun Şimşek ve Binnur Kaya’nın bir reklam kampanyasında oynamaları ile meşhur olan Mümkünlü Köyü aslında Taraklı kasabasıdır. Videonun linki şöyle:

GÖYNÜK GEZİSİ
Türkiye’nin sakin yerlerinden biri olan Bolu’nun Göynük ilçesi ise tarihi İpek Yolu Koridoru olarak tanımlanan Geyve-Taraklı-Nallıhan-Beypazarı-Ayaş-Ankara güzergahında bulunuyor. Eski adı Koinon Gallicanon olan Göynük’ün anlamının ‘olgunlaşmış, göynümüş’ ya da ‘keçi kılından yapılan heybe’ anlamına geldiği belirtiliyor. Tarihi sokakları ile öne çıkan Göynük, tarihi konakların yanı sıra türbeler ilçesi olarak biliniyor. Göynük evleri ile belgesel çekimleri için güzel bir yer.

ÇUBUK GÖLÜ GEZİSİ
Son olarak gezimizi Göynük'ün 11 kilometre kuzeyinde yer alan Çubuk Gölü'nü gezdik. Bu göl, kayabaşı tepesinden inen heyelanın vadiyi kapatması sonucu oluştuğu söyleniyor. Doğallığı ile öne çıkan Çubuk gölünde bir tane kafe, lokanta ve çevresinde yürüyüş parkuru bulunuyor. Gölden başlayarak Çubuk yaylasına treking yapmak isteyenler için ideal bir alan.

Bu haftasonu zengin kültürel geçmişimizin izlerini taşıyan Taraklı ve Göynük'ü geziyoruz. Tarihi ipek yolu üzerinde bulunan bu Taraklı ve Göynük 'deki huzur, sizi başka bir zaman dilimine götürüyor adeta.
Osmanlı yaşayışını yansıtan konakları, asırlık çınarı ve cana yakın sakinleri ile Taraklı bizi kendine hayran bıraktı. İstanbul'a bu kadar yakın olup, tarihte bu denli yolculuğa çıkabileceğiniz başka bir yer yok sanırım. Ayrıca birçok film ve dizinin çekim yeri Taraklı. Eh pek tabi, böyle güzel doğayı, manzarayı başka pek bir yerde bulabilme imkanımız yok İstanbul'da yaşayanlar olarak. Biz Taraklı 'yı çok beğendik.
Geri dönüş yolundaki durağımız ise Göynük. Fatih Sultan Mehmet'in hocası Akşemsettin hazretlerinin türbesi, Cumhuriyetimizin ilk yılında inşa edilen Zafer Kulesi ve yemekleri ile Göynük görülmesi gereken yerlerden bir diğeri.

bu videoda öylesine gezerken rastladığımız ve daha sonra araştırınca acayip meşhur bir yer olduğunu öğrendiğim Şehzade Cağ Kebapçısına gittik.Hayatımda böyle bir lezzet tatmadım. Gerçekten enfesti ve müthiş misafirperver bir müessese. Eğer yolunuz Sirkeci taraflarına düşerse mutlaka deneyin derim.
Ayrıca bir konu daha var. Kanal iyice yeme içme kanalı olmaya başladı rahatsız değilim ancak başka türde videolarda hazırlamak için kolları sıvadık. Sizden gelecek önerilere de açık olduğumuzu söyleyeyim. Seriler çeşitlenmeli ve bu çeşitlilik sizlerin istekleri üzerine yoğunlaşmalıdır. Bu nedenle herkesten bir öneri bekliyorum.

Erdogan builds thousands of dams, why? - In Turkey
The Turkish economy is growing fast, too fast. But how does a country grow without oil, without gas? More than two thousand dams are currently under construction to match the need for energy. Green energy, though. But the areas where these dams are being built are paying a high price. We travel to a drowned village that disappeared under the water of a dam: only the minaret is left to see. How does a community deal with this loss? And why does the government continue to plan new dams, even though studies show that the dams do not produce nearly as much energy as promised. Does it have anything to do with the neighboring countries such as Iraq and Syria, which are dependent on the Tigris and Euphrates rivers originating in Turkey and that are now fully built with dams?

In this seven-part series Bram Vermeulen travels through Turkey - From Istanbul to the sparsely populated mountains in the east; from the closed borders of Armenia to the open southern borders shared with neighboring Arab countries - observing the rapid changes in a country that has a renewed fresh confidence.
